Allied Assault was the third Medal of Honor game not the first. MoH and MoH: Underground were the first two in the series. They are also the best but those two were made by DreamWorks and EA was just publishing the series in those days. Allied Assault was decent but it was an extremely short game with its 10 missions compared to around 100 missions between the first two. Sorry for going off topic.
I would say it needs more of a Ninja Gaiden action style game with a world style of Dark souls/Ninja Gaiden (original Xbox). It also needs that NG type of hard mode. Its fair like DS but much less accommodating.
My point is that its on the devs and pubs. There is always a risk of broken street dates. If they print the disc before they're done with the game they can't blame anyone but themselves for reviews that don't represent the final product.
This shit is getting out of control. They seem to have forgotten how quickly the market can turn against a company, especially when said company is acting so aggressively against its own customers.
It would be awesome if you could play it in splitscreen, offline and online.
Unless you signed an embargo agreement, there is no iffy moral ground to reviewing games early. The fact that early reviews may not be representative of the final product is all on Sony and Hello Games. The fact that, in modern times, games don't ship in proper condition and require early patches is a serious problem in the industry and if either the games or devs & pubs that put them out there suffer for it, they can blame themselves.
"I mean, is it possible ...
You sound like a brat who childishly takes issue with anyone who doesn't see the world the way you do.
They were doing previews and shit like 6 mo ago then nothing.
In my experience the pasty colors of PS2 games do more damage than dated graphics and every ps2 game Ive played on ps4 has significantly improved coloration.
Metal Gear 1 & 2 are good also, especially 2.
If the intention is that this is the last Tekken, then everyone needs to be in this game.
They did Miller wrong in MGS.
Joel was right to do what he did. There was no way that a cure was going to go public. It would have been used as a tool for power. Ellie didn't understand that. even though she had been through a lot she still had that "I trust my friends cause they're mine" mentality, as expressed through her trust of the firefly leader, someone who was hiding the truth from her the whole time. Joel was put on the spot at the end and did the...
He makes very clear and concise arguments, doesn't resort to ad hominem or insulting memes and I've never seen him be rude, which is a hell of a lot better than I could say about several other people on here. Whats to complain about, other than dissenting opinions?
Never played these. Can't wait to play the first one on a console without mad screen tearing.
I love good pixel art.
@Gespenst
"The best art is made when there are no deadlines and no budget constraints."
That couldn't be further from the truth. Artists without constraint tend to chase every rabbit down every rabbit hole and you end up with a lot of fluff. Time constraints encourage focus and money constraints encourage innovation. Its creative interference from the suits that tends to screws things up.
@NewMonday The thing about this game that really sets it apart from the typical sidescroller is the loadout factor and the feel of the controls. At moments, it really feels like a 2D Armored Core, which is made by the same team and director as DS.
Remastered games aren''t ruining the industry. Whats "ruining" the industry (if ruining is the proper term) is the general unwillingness of publishers to do something beyond the narrow set of perceived popular trends. Remasters are the back-end product of an industry afraid to move forward, not the cause of it. That said, because this gen we moved consoles to x86 architecture, remaster are going to happen because there are a lot of great games from past gens that you would h...
Lets see how good of a sci-fi concept these guys come up with.
I feel ya. The extent of my interest in the article is the MoH error. I initially clicked on it just to see what this guy considers offensive but that interest didn't even last for the whole first page.
