@gamerpop there were a bunch of FPSs on ps1. Some really good ones too like Medal of Honor and MoH:Underground, not to mention Doom, Quake etc.

The problem is that there weren't many good JRPGs during the ps3 era like there was during the ps1/ps2 days. If they start pumping out some high quality JRPGs we will be back there again. Buying from one genre ...
Don't see what WRPGs and FPSs have to do with it. As long as the games are good to great they will have a shot at main stream popularity.
Now I understand why the music sounds so much like FF. Thats pretty f***ing awesome.
I got BF4 that way for $18. Worth every penny.
The cast didn't look childishly designed to me, they looked like creatures from another world. It personified the "Fantasy" in Final Fantasy very well.
Playing FFIX is like playing a dream. My only gripes with it are that it could have had a better method of acquiring skills for the characters and the skills, themselves, could have been more unique to each individual character. The stealing game ran a bit long, as well. The best one overall, IMO.
Destiny had so much potential but ended being such a repetitive mess. The MP was ok but you couldn't pay me to do anymore sp missions in that game cause they're so bad and the story is just lame. The main problem is that there are games out there that actually earn the love, much like how Destiny has earned its gripes, and the contrast is pretty stark.
According to the trophy info on ps4, the vast majority of people who bought the game barely play at all on that system. We're talking like 80% here.
Look at the achievements, you'll get a sense of how many people stuck with it. Particularly the one for first diorama piece, you hit level 10 for that one.
Either someone thinks you're lying or I need to buy someone a dictionary.
I frequently have problems getting matches on ps4 at certain times of day. If you look at the trophies on ps4 you can see that less than half the people who bought it on that system ever reached level 10 (first diorama piece), only 20% ever reached level 25, and only around 5% ever hit level 50. It only takes about 2-3 weeks worth of play to hit level 50 for a bad player. only about a third ever made 25,000 or more in credits. Thats only 2-3 days worth of playing for a bad player. An overwhel...
Its not like Sean Hannity did the review, its Fox News Tech. The guy who reviewed it does nothing but VG reviews over there.
@kraenk12 Everyone sees the world through a lens, no one is unbiased.
@Kabaneri
News Corp, not Viacom, owns Fox News and used to own IGN.
IGN used to be owned by the same entity as Fox News.
Actually, the situation with The Know has nothing to do with copyright law. The only reason Sony are able to legally take it down is because Youtube is cooperating. If Youtube did not cooperate, Sony would have no legal avenue to have the video removed.
The New Order was f***ing awesome and I'm not even an fps fan.
I wouldn't mind a sequel that was less chapter based, more 3D metroidvania like classic RE.
I feel ya. I know why it didn't appeal to me; it seemed to lack focus. While that doesn't seem to be the case with the actual game, I'm gonna have to give it a couple of weeks before I decide to jump in or not... mostly cause I'm broke (no air conditioning in the south during summer time is hell).
Ive only ever seen an article for this game one other time since Ive been here (around 6 months).
