Bullshit. You own the disc and the copy of the media that's on it. They can't show up on your doorstep one day and just demand it be given back because they no longer have any right to it after they sell it.
I thought they were talking about the 80s arcade game.
I just got done watching Guyver. Its one of those animes where the series ends but the story doesn't. Couldn't begin to tell you how much I LOVE a complete lack closure in my anime.
Besides Mr.X theres only one jumpscare in the original game.
Probably to those who bought those games on Wii U. But those like myself who never owned a Wii U couldn't care less. There are probably exceptions, but I didn't give 2 f**ks about a previous version when I bought MK8 Deluxe for $60.
RE4 is not survival horror.
Dual Shock version comes with gatling gun already unlocked. How stupid is that.
No. Ps4, Xbone, and PC.
It does seem pretty intimidating, especially if your thinking in terms of creating well polished games but I find the thought of just setting up a simple area and putting in a character (or vehicle) and just messing around with the logic just to see whats possible, mechanics wise, fascinating. I can't wait.
The game needs a release date of F***ing yesterday.
The lack of option to choose fp or tp in a western rpg is just antiquated.
Found this RE2 trailer on the official PS youtube:

"This one in particular gives me that Tenchu vibe which makes it unique with that Soulsborne gameplay."
Good combat was the one thing Tenchu lacked. With this being from FROMSOFT, I get the feeling that the combat will be hard enough to encourage stealth where possible but fun enough to not be game breaking when open combat becomes necessary. The thing is, they showed as much stealth as they did action, so its kinda hard to tell where they are going with this one....
@Seraphim Onimusha is literally RE in oldskool Japan. By that I mean it was pitched as RE but with ninjas, it began life in development as an RE spinoff game and it plays nearly identical to classic RE but instead of shooting zombies and bio-weapons in modern times, you're cutting up demons during the late Sengoku period. I agree with everything after first paragraph, though.
Not the same thing at all. Onimusha is Classic Resident Evil meets hack and slash meets Sengoku era Japan. Nioh is Soulsborne meets Ninja Gaiden meets Sengoku era Japan. Two completely different gameplay experiences. The only things they have in common is the Sengoku era and demons.
SE has been cursed ever since they got rid of Sakaguchi.
@SurgicalMenace "Without proper hardware to push the envelope..." What 3rd party dev is pushing the envelope on any system? Just about everything we play now is just like everything we played on ps3/360. The only thing that usually gets pushed are graphics.
Like I said in an earlier post, It doesn't need to sell in the multiple millions to be profitable enough.
According to NPD, NNK2 brought in 60% higher returns in first months sales than the first game.

I'm also not finding anything backing up your claim of units shipped, as opposed to units sold. This game didn't have a modern AAA budget so it doesn't need to sell millions upon millions to be profitable. ...
The easier something is to attain, the less valuable it becomes. Don't know why these people are in such a rush to devalue their own industry.
