Damn right it did. Would have cost me $100+ to import a 64 gb card from japan and those things apparently have a high failure rate. I filled up my 32 gb card (@$2+ per gb btw) before I even bought any vita games.
Port all that shit over to ps4.
Nice to see another non-first person horror game rise to the top.
Ive got so many ideas that I want to prototype in Dreams.
Generally speaking, I like the way this is coming along. But I have to wonder if the new team even grasps how much of a cliche Ada's new look is.
WTF are you talking about, Jill and Ada's clothing in the original were artistic decisions. They most likely avoided the trench coat cause they understood how much of a cliche that was.
I'd personally much rather have a game that FEELS like Resident Evil. Bring back some campiness, some zombies and bioweapons, keep the metroidvania but you gotta do better on those puzzle elements, and if you insist on first person... keep it optional. The market is flooded with fp horror games, and while I respect the fact that many people like that sort of thing, you need to respect that many of your fans do not like it. Options in this case are a win/win for everyone, Capcom included. ...
Much more concerned about decent frame rates and their ability to run games from genres like RTS, without too many limitations, than I am about photorealism. I just can't think of too many genres where photorealsim truly adds to the experience. And where it does add to it, we're pretty much already there (GT, Ace Combat).
Totino's:"how could we possibly get people to eat our nasty ass pizza..."
I hope you're right.
@SegaGamer
"When releasing games like this to the western audience, you need to promote it well (which they didn't really do)"
The other problem is that they released a week before Spider-man dropped. They should have released it somewhere between June - August, far away from any release with major mass market appeal. I am very worried about this. Its almost as if they WANTED to sabotage DQ11's sales performance.
As if this type of thinking didn't almost bankrupt Capcom just a few years ago.
As if REmake was a remaster.
Is that what you call an argument? You need to take that trite ass 'afraid of change' ad hom to the nursing home where it belongs.
If Ada Wong is a spy, the last thing she needs to do is dress like one. Especially not one from the 1940s. Seriously dude, she looks like she's on her way to a costume party. Its goofy as hell.
Ada Wong should look like Ada Wong, not a Humphrey Bogart cosplayer.
@T2X
"This is Resident evil. Why would these women or anyone in general be running around in spiked high heels and miniskirts to begin with during a zombie outbreak?"
BECAUSE this is Resident Evil. You can't take the Japanese flair out of Resident Evil and still have Resident Evil.
When it comes to putting a ps1/ps2 disc in your ps4, licensing would be unnecessary.
Its impossible to boil down the PS1 experience to 25 games. They should have gone with 40-50 at the very least. The best thing they could have done is give it an internet connection and allow people to add games via psn.
I might have bought all 4 together for like $3 or $4. But at $4 a piece you can kiss my ass.
There was vita hand grip that had triggers on it. Worked really well too.
