Seeing how aggressive Sony is towards the xbone I think they will wait for the official date them release the Ps4 a few weeks earlier than the xbone.

Its X86 it will be emulated in 2-3 years, so will the xbox one and Gaikai is supported on Pc/tablets so PS3 games will work.

Neither console is worth the price tag, the "next gen hardware" is equal to a $50 PC cpu and a $100 GPU except the GDDR5 in the PS4 everything is very cheap compared to a mid-high end computer. But their is something bad about GDDR5 the reason they use ddr3 not gddr5 for PC is because it is horrible for everything that needs accuracy.

Pc is upgrading to DDR4 ram next year which is arguabley superior to the GDDR5 becuase super tight timings are not in the ps4 (gddr5 is used in video cards because its fast and the vram doesnt need accuracy) when Haswell-E comes out bringing octacore i7s to the high end main stream with 16 threads @4ghz and it will oc to like 4.8 and the AMD and Nvidia gpus will have 6GB GDDR5 VRAM with around 4000 cores with 22nm transitors.

Digital is better on PC because you can preload it about a week before the game comes out.
Pokemon stadium with updated graphics/effects and pokemon form generations 1-7 + online battles would be epic.
I hope this game launches with mod tools like Skyrim did.
