The DRM will be back, disagree with me now and I will be back later to laugh at you.
They are not going to throw years of research away they will just delay it long enough to meet their desired sales then lock everyone in and throw away the key.

Going off sales PC is #1 how many pcs have shipped with an 8800gt or better graphics card (minimum to play games)? Billions.
If you play bf3 on the PC maxed then you would know BF3 at 60fps is super smooth, I expect bf4 to be just as smooth at 60 fps or higher.
I think a lot of people expected the kinect to actually be useful when they bought them. Nowadays its pretty pointless and gimmicky.
No console maker stays #1 for longer than 1 generation, Microsoft your time is up and it will be the PS4 or steamboxes this gen.
Digital games should be cheaper, most devs so a $10 discount if you buy the digital version of PC. Some even do $20.
They would still have a disk copy but now they can do what they love to do with their PC games. The disk comes with nothing on it except the unlock code for origin, theres also a few devs that pull that crap on steam EA is not alone.
Problem is what if Call of Duty Ghost or Battlefield 4 does this? The mainstream will still buy it and let them get away with it.
Every game is available digitally now on the new consoles at launch. That means say EA could force their game to be digital copy only and all the disk does is have an unlock code on it therefore it is permanently tied to you. Same goes for PS4 though. Don't be surprised when devs start doing that so its impossible for their games to be used.
Digital (Steam) for me, it can never break and I can download it anywhere an infinite amount of times. Also guaranteed backwards compatibility and there has been rumors that Valve is adding game trading to steam soon.
Also if you preorder a game that is on steam you can preload it and play it the second it unlocks instead of having to wait for amazon to deliver it/ going down to gamestop and picking it up.
Both have their advantages though and you can't g...
These are mainly 2d games though so any freaking PC can run it, your phone can probably run it too.
@gamertk421 the only reason people bought xbox 360s was because they couldn't afford a ps3, I had a 360 but if the ps3 wasn't $600-$700 I would of got a ps3.
1) Their hair will be messed up by their "always -on" tinfoil hats because of fear of the kinect.
No they don't it is just bullshit they force you to use the piece of junk, it has no real world benefits and it just a huge gimmick.
2) BUT THE RAMZ!11!
I will agree with you about the ram. I don't know where this pre conceived idea came from that GDDR5 is better for games than ddr3 because if anything it is the opposite.
I have no faith in Microsoft all of their products suck I don't know how people still put up with their shit especially after what they did to windows with windows 8 and somehow they managed to make a Phone OS that is more closed down and crappier than IOS.
Most of these are console exclusives because they are also on PC/being released on PC.
@NYC_Gamer
PS4 and PC for me, xbox ones exclusives are crap so far and do not in the least bit appeal to me.
@SuperLupe
Dedicated servers are expensive if you want them for free switch to PC.
@AnimeAvenger
>Sony fanboy
>Hasn't owned a console in 4 years, had a 360
>PC Master race
Your an idiot if you want an xbox one, you probably also own an iphone and think its the best thing in the world and love everything people like the US Government does because your a worthless sheep.
That would be hilarious if this was a giant lie they started to boost their preorders than after people start getting them they have DRM on them.
So since all the cloud services are cancelled whats the point of 300000 servers or did they axe that too?
