I could MEET the morons/antagonist/instigators, who write these stories! Just once, to bash their heads up!!
Seriously, these stories are becoming SENSATIONAL Journalism. Soon you'll be in the grocery store reading BS anti-Sony/anti-MS articles in the Enquirer.
Y'all got 2 international games, can't voice talk in many of them, can't use a global messaging system from within the games, can't listen to custom soundtracks from your PC or 60Gb hdd, can't invite/join games from across the board, can't d/l music/HD movie content/pictures and themes, can't IM users on cell phones or PCs...BUT it's free!!!
@14.3 Yea you're right...we got owned. :|
is in that game. I wonder if they'll be able to talk/send messages, etc. to the international players.
Well, PS3 owners...even though it's just one game (for now)...
Welcome to the REAL online multiplayer world!
to the TRUE Next-Gen media world!
Let's see get some more games for the PS3 library, have Sony offer music/video (HD) downloads and update the PS3 to play streamed music while playing games and the system will be complete!
I like the fetaure of being able to copy files from the PC to the PS3! Sony needs to continue this effort and stop spending time getting Epson printers to print photos stored on the PS3.
One story says the update made it so you can stream media from the PC to the PS3 yet here they say you need codecs and the software isn't ready yet!??! WHAT?
I know of 3-4 who've had their 360 repaired. Two of which had that BS intercooler plugged on it.
I still have my orig Nov. 2005 box AND I got a 2nd one this past x-mas. No problems so whatsoever. They need to survey these same people to see who had the intercoolers connected and who has their xbox in a low-ventilated area. I bet the numbers would almost match equally!
how many online?? Cause if it's 8 player only, like CoD2, then "Forget about it."
It's the same with American cars--especially SUVs.
the Xbox 720 the size of the Zune and change the name to something recognizable as a tiny dik (like Wii) and it'll sell billions over there.
Didn't they do any market research? They should know the Japanese don't like anything that belittles their 'manhood'.
That's all there is to it.
Also up in the air are previously announced plans to equip the PlayStation 2 with its own version of the Netscape Web browser and other Internet goodies. "Right now, I don't see that to be a large entertainment option--for people to browse the Internet on their television sets," Hirai said.
Hirai added that the company will reveal plans for delivering online music and movies via the console by early next year. "We're looking to become a mass-market broadband plat...
READING COMPREHENSION!! Where did I state PSN is for PS2 users?? Here let me try to state it for the 'not to bright';
Sony expects MOST PS2 owners to BUY a PS3 (even if 1/4th were to buy it would be way more than the amt of PS3s sold so far). With that being the case AND with PSN being free - you'd expect a HUGE number of PSN users - well over 1.5 mill.
Ok Special Ed class is over - you mat now attempt to further show your lack of brain power...
According to you cause "1/2" of that would equal 1.5 million smart guy.
With soooo many PS2 sales (those that Sony thinks will upgrade to PS3) PLUS a Free online service...you'd think there'd be more people online.
And too bad you'll never notice that many users, since PSN is region-based....unless you create multiple accounts within different regions (thereby making PSN SEEM to have so many users).
Perhaps because you are playing on the Game dev's servers and not your pispoor connection...?
There's no voice support in Call of Duty 3....and you pay how much, folks??
MORON. So was Splinter Cell:CT, Full Spectrum Warrior, Kingdom Under Fire series...etc. That wasn't my point, butboy.
is online but Sony tried to deny that (since 2002). Now they are severely behind BUT at least trying to catch up.
Halo3 (with GoW behind it), is proof that ONLINE CO-OP is the next-level for 'single-player' games.
Just imagine (Sony fanboys), playing a CO-OP MGS4 or a CO-OP Final Fantasy!!! There's no denying the potential FUN in that!
for my old Xbox which I'll be trading in to help pay for that sucka. It's located on the 2nd middle shelf (under my 360) of my entertainment stand.
But if this game turns into a glitch-fest like Halo2, I'll have something to take my frustration out on (lol).
He's not talking about PS3 (next-gen) games:
"Every month you'll just see more and more content on there it'll get to the point where it's really rich by September. And I think that will be timed really nicely with the advent of Home as well."
He's talking about games like XBL Arcade. Still nothing to make me want a cheap BluRay/Expensive Game Console.
Unless perhaps I mis-read his English for Japanese...?
Double Dragon, Turtles and now SoR! Now it's time to hope for Kung Fu Master and Unreal Tournament.
