Was a pretty great Vietnam war game with a look from the Black perspective. It did justice to Black people who fought in the war but stereotyped the hell out of the Vietnamese!

Because it came out too close to the release of MW2 and made people (who were anticipating MW2) compare it harshly to CoD4 and the likes, which was an entirely different game. It didn't have; CoD graphics, it was a higher learning curve with the controls, and it was only 4vs4 (with HUGE maps).
It didn't help either that the game came out with online issues, which made it feel rushed to market. People drilled that in their skulls but forgot about the likes of games...

Yes u can send text-it's rather tedious (get wht u pay for) on PSN.
Cross game chat is vital if u compete alot & play team-based games often. But it's evident that you don't have or never tried XBL extensively as people don't use x-game chat to talk about the weather & how their day went. They have game-related convos or they are looking to team up to play so texting one person is..ok...but when u have a text convo with 7 other people, it gets lam...
