Split screen, sure, but online? Not so much.
I have Killzone 2 and I enjoyed it, but with so few team mates that actually talk, it gets boring fast. Plus, I much prefer the controls of COD 4.
They can sue, but it won't hold water. Does a movie like The Birdcage paint gay characters in a positive light? Does a movie like American Beauty? Any case would be laughed out of court.
Rarely does a camper get that many kills. If a camper kills me, I throw a very well placed stun to get their location and either flank them or toss a follow up grenade that they can't escape from. But if you're playing with an ACTUAL team, they'll communicate where he's camping.
Matchmaking. I've said it a million times. Matchmaking is so antiquated. They need a hosted lobby system so that the host can control who is playing this game. This way, griefers of any kind can be booted from the game. No more d-bags that only play Domination for kills, no more people without mics, no more people that can't play. This way, it makes it an actually fun game for the people in the lobby. Also, the host should be allowed to control duration, make restrictions (I'd love to see thi...
Ah, yet another poor sap who is too thick to learn not to rush in after a kill. I can't believe there are still people who complain about this. Even a rat learns not to eat the electrified cheese.
As much as I'm looking forward to playing this game both online and off, every time I read something about what they're doing, I get a bit miffed. Yes, I trust IW but there are so many games that implement 4 player co-op and make it a blast. Hell, I even enjoyed Halo 3 mostly because of the 4 player co-op. Not having co-op in the campaign is a mistake. And with all the reviews taking games like this to task for not having it, they really should hold it against MW2.
Anyone who say...
You can say what you want about Killzone 2, I liked it, but the fact that you're forced into having pistol and not being able to swap it out for a second gun is lame. Other FPS have this option and yet KZ2 takes a giant step backwards.
It is entirely possible for someone to disagree with your opinion. Just because it's an opinion doesn't mean it's above reproach.
I love how people bring up the graphics as if that mattered. Obviously TONS of people still play the game on both consoles so it doesn't matter to them. COD 4, for me, is a much more fun game. I haven't touched Killzone 2 in months. In fact, I'm probably trading it in. I loved the game but I just don't feel addicted to it the way I am with COD 4. You don't have to agree with me or the article, but you can't deny that the game is still very popular nearly 2 years after it came out. Well you co...
The only perk I hate is 3 frags. Absolutely zero skill required.
Aside from curiosity about Batman, I don't want a single game on that list.
Wow, no Splinter Cell nomination? Are they daft? They seriously lost all credibility.
You say COD4 wasn't that good? Guess what? A lot of people think it IS that good. Now what?
I completely agree. What made me fall in love with the series was the feeling of being in a HUGE battle. I hope they find a way to bring that back. I play Rainbow Six for my spec-ops battles. I want COD to be a f*cking warzone!
You're probably going to be sad because IW is all about MLG and Gamebattles.
Yes, because Chinatown was the only good map in that pack. Unless you suck at it and got pinned in your spawn.
The difference is that you actually have to aim. In God of War and many of the hack and slash games, you can progress by mashing buttons until every enemy is dead. So yes, hack and slash games get boring incredibly fast.
I couldn't care less. I know the game will be awesome no matter where it's set.
See, but the problem is that they COULD have made 4 player co-op work. Real SAS teams use more than 2 people, so it could very easily been done. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if co-op wasn't even on the table and they put this in because Nazi Zombies and the Co-op of the campaign of World at War were such a hit that they were pressured into doing it.
