I agree that people that don't follow orders should be penalized. It would really eliminate the obnoxoids that permeate nearly every online game now.

For me it's not an issue of it being original. It looks unimpressive. And the fact that a GREAT majority of PSN users have no mics or the desire to get one makes me care even less. There's no way I'm going to bother with this game when I know there will be far too many people running around doing their own thing. Yes, they have made the game a lot tougher on people who do that, but I'm still not sold that it will actually work.
I'll stick to KZ2 and MW2. At least they have a mana...

I do know how old it is, and Valve has been making games with it for years and every single game has been good. Notice how very few people, well educated people, complain about the engine?
My POINT was that they're not going to make a whole new engine just for a sequel. No one does that unless it's moving to the next gen.
But if you add the total units sold, they're in 3rd place. No matter how you spin it those are facts.

As for the toolio that said it's on the same engine? Yeah? And? Every sequel on consoles uses the same engine if they're in the same generation.
God of War 3 looked like the same game as the others with more tech behind it. Sorry, but hack and slash games are lame. Uncharted looks far more cinematic and fun with strategy and more game mechanics. It's easy to see why it won over God of War.
I knew they'd name Uncharted 2. I bet that will be on the top of most journalist's lists for best of show.

Though I think Assassin's Creed 2 should've been best Multiplatform but that game is going to sell no matter what so I can see why they gave it to Brutal Legend.

No, it's not the internet speak, it's the constant things like someone typing "princable" instead of "principle" or typing "new" instead of "knew". These are the people that mostly likely say "supposably" and "fustrated". Is it really too much to ask that if people want to communicate that they do it properly? Has our education system failed that much? There's a spell check for God's sake!
I'm not sure why people are so worried about the game being easy. It was explained, very clearly, that you can only mark a limited amount of targets (2 for a pistol, 3 for a shotgun, etc) and once those targets are taken out, you still have to deal with the rest of the situation. Also, if you can take out one of the targets without having to "execute" you get one back so it doesn't have to "recharge".
I'm a huge fan of the series and I couldn't be more excited...
Wait, so Valve isn't forthcoming with their product? And this is something new? They talk about things when they're ready to be talked about. Like I've said, Valve as an impeccable track record. If they say the content is too big for DLC then I believe them. All of the elements were fine-tuned and in place so a year to finish a sequel isn't that big of a deal.
