I rarely play Creek because most people hate that map, but I play Overgrown a lot and as soon as I die from that glitch I leave the game. I'd rather take a loss than die a bunch of times because some a-hole's idea of fun is to ruin it for everyone else.
I really hope ND can stay on top this. I just don't understand the need to ruin someone else's fun.
En error in judgment? Wow. Like someone said, an error in judgment is shoplifting, or beating up the guy who slept with your girlfriend. This was a planned assault that could have been MUCH worse for the victim and it's terrible already.
I don't think these kids should be killed but I think they should be locked up for the better part of the rest of their lives. Especially the one who committed the crime.
Personally I don't care if it was because he snitched or a vi...
I wouldn't say it's nothing like Gears. I prefer this to Gears of War but there are similarities.
The reviewer isn't complaining about it not being in the first person. He's comparing it to how the player takes the role of the "hero" (meaning the MAIN CHARACTER) in those types of games whereas Uncharted 2 you're playing a character who is the "hero".
God, get a grip and a comprehension lesson.
So many people were waiting for Edge to tear this game apart, they not only don't but give it a fantastic score and you're still not happy.
...
How is it undignified to buy what you want. Mind you, if you don't feel like you're going to get your money's worth then that's fine, but considering the fact that I STILL play COD 4 two years later means that I definitely got my money's worth and then some. So I could not care less if Activision raised the price a few dollars. Do you not see movies that play at IMAX either because the price is about $6 more than a regular movie?
Yeah. I put it in at 11am and with a couple of breaks I finished it at around 12:30 am. According to the game I played it for 10 hours and 49 minutes. Tomorrow I play it again for some trophies.
I'm almost done with the campaign and it's easily a 10 TO ME. See what I did there? Emphasized "to me" in order to show that it's MY opinion, much like that of the critic's is HIS opinion. Everyone is entitled to it. If that's the score they gave it, that's the score they gave it. Settled down. If you love the game, love it. There's no reason to get sand in your panties.
First of all, all the Tom Clancy games this gen have had MP. Secondly, Ubisoft IS known for great online MP. The only game that didn't like the world on fire with it's MP was Far Cry 2 which is fine because the single player was fantastic and offered about 15-20 hours of gameplay. It would behoove you to know what you're talking about once in a while.
Actually no, it's not supply and demand. Supply and demand is when the supply is low and the demand is high. This is not the case.
How does not getting a game that I want to play benefit me? You're the one with the problem. I don't know you so just because we like games doesn't mean I'm going to suffer because of that common interest.
Shut up.
I do find it funny that PS3 fans are usually the loudest about what an overrated game GTA IV was. My guess is that it started seeding the moment they announced exclusive DLC for the 360.
I case this slipped anyone's mind, all the CODs have come out on or around Veteran's Day. I wonder why that is.
Dude, rational thought and objectivity need not apply.
No form of entertainment is perfect. The score is an aggregate of overall experience. I have 10's to several movies, games, books and so on that were by no means "perfect" but I enjoyed them so much that it weighed heavily in it's favor.
And Game Informer has made it perfectly clear that their 10 is by no means a perfect game.
Not that any review would dissuade me, but this is the review I wanted to read. GI are usually right on point and when they give a game 10, I completely agree. I really can't wait to play this game. Tomorrow come faster!
Completely agree. They have always seemed fair and more often than not I agree with their thoughts.
Disappoint you. I thought it delivered on every level that I wanted it to. And why do you care if GTA IV gets 1 point higher? How does this affect you in any way?
It would help if the writer actually played through a bigger portion of the game than the first 2 levels which were clearly designed to give you the skill set you need to get through the rest of the game. By the time he gets to the train he'll be hooked like a big dumb fish.
