I haven't been able to get through a match without it freezing since the update.
The author of this article makes a legitimate point and you somehow try to make his post uncredible because of his website hosting, in which you point out as "format" in relation to server load.
This post almost has me to the point of providing him free hosting on my server farm that could more than support the "few tens of simultaneous hits". Do you realize that any page view from any website will create "few tens of simulatneous hits"?
How do you know what this person does for a living. He may also be extremely successful and his website may be a hobby. I have a couple blogs that tackle various topics including the career in which I am very successful.
On a site like IGN, which gets "30 million hits in a single day"(according to a post above), that the level of writing should be higher than a blog post.

I guess I was more speaking to the analog stick location, I can see the size of the controller definably being an issue for some. To each his own but I don't like the staggered analog sticks.
It seems to me the only people bitching about the controllers are people that don't own a PS3, I love the dual shock.

I don't have a problem with the level or it being made. I just won't be playing it. Honestly, I said in an earlier post that I would play this. I have to recant. As an Adult I understand that I can skip the level, its not seeing or playing the level that is as offensive as the principle behind it. What else bother me by the fact that this being marketed as a game is the fact that, a hack for gta to simulate sex for GTA was pulled off the shelves, but walmart has an exclusive ad to say the only way to play this game is on xbox 360, the same company that does not let parental advisory cd's to be sold in its store. Yet a game that you basically become a terrorist in certain instances is being promoted via commercials. I will play it, but it is bothersome from a contradictory standpoint....

To anyone that posts youtube videos to try to show 60 fps vs. 30 fps. You do realize that youtube re-encodes the videos upon upload to around 15 frames per second and drops the resolution for bandwidth reasons right?
Also I read a comment about no enemy variety. In R1 and R2, I never really noticed because the missions always had different objectives. In comparison Killzone 2, same enemies throughout other than the heavies, it might have been themost bland yet graphically impressive games ever,but in all honesty I had to force myself to finish it out of pride and hype.
I think the other big thing for me especially with FPS, is that it seems sometimes developers almost force themselves to be innovative instead of building on what worked in the first. Uncharted is a great example, it builds on the first installment and does everything better. R2 on the other hand almost felt forced as if it was trying to reinvent the wheel. I played through the firs resistance in 2 sittings, replayed it one more time single player and once co-op. I had to force myself through R2. I loved the cut scenes and commentary in R1, even the guns were crazy it felt old school. R2, i cant put my finger on any one thing, but it just was not as fun to play.
I preferred the first resistance over the second. I played through the first one twice single player and once co-op. I wish they would have kept the co-op the same for the second installment instead of making it mission based.
