I believe that with the resignation of Ken Kutaragi Sony will choose to retire the Playstation name and begin a new legacy and possibly a new direction in gaming.
This exec has seriously misplaced his loyalty. However, I do agree with him when he says that the next gaming console, presumably from Sony, will be something other than a Playstation. I don't think we will be seeing a PS4.

The rumor is highly questionable yet the idea of doing somthing like that is just fantastic. The introduction of such a feature would be incredible and highly innovative in gameplay.
After hearing Nintendo state that they begin work on new titles and new hardware once the current ones are released, this is no surprise.

Trying to make a comparison of the GC Metroid Prime with the yet to be released Wii Metroid Prime may be of some interest but then uploading it to a computer and distributing the comparison across the web highly degrades the video. So I really don't understand what was going through the minds of these people. What and how are we supposed to see any difference when the quality of the video itself is terrible?
True, but even if it is only a location in the game, I think the ESRB will see it as something newly offensive that will be debated. I'm sure they're shooting for an M rating, that's obvious since it's the rating the makes the most cash. However, I think many developers have been confronted with a surprise when the game gets scrutinized under the eyes of a ratings board.

I think claiming a winner at E3 is adolescent and "fanboyish" for a lack of a better word. Everyone has their hopes and their expectations and when such things turn up empty, opinions change and the mud-slinging begins.
With that being said, this is the first article I've read which favored Sony's conference over the others. Of course this is not a respectable and credible source but it still has merit.

Apart from the assumption that this game will most likely be more vile, grotesque, and morally irresponsible than Manhunt 2, if they seriously plan on putting in "Porn World", I'm guessing this game is going to take it in the AO with an ESRB rated baseball bat.

The man has integrity but I'm not sure what he means by stating that the PS3 will be the clear winner by March 2008. The clear winner of what? A larger fanbase? More revenue than any other company? More games? What?

Indeed, gamers, especially hardcore gamers, are afraid of change.
