I wish someone would take another stab at horror RPGs, the legacy of Shadow Hearts should live on!

Titanfall director says his game is the best shooter ever, also claims his groin is the most powerful ever and that he will live forever through the sheer willpower of being the best person ever.
Yea, I look at FF II and I see a lot of what later became the Elder Scrolls style of leveling. Getting hit to gain HP and using spells/ weapons to make them stronger sounds REAL familiar. If anything FF II was just too ahead of its time for the tech that was available.
The inclusion of DQVII is a let down, the game is very long but very worth it. The amount of characters, dungeons, an insane amount of different text for characters, a deep job system and more make this a stand out RPG on the PS1. The game is long, but a rewarding long. I really want a localization of the 3DS version....

I played a F2P MMO called Conquer for a bit that has a mining mechanic in it and got thrown in their jail (jail has you use one of the items you can buy, a Dragonball, to get released) twice for NO reason. Their system for finding cheaters, which I wouldn't have known how to cheat on the game in the first place, for some reason threw me in jail and wanted me to pay to get out which I never did. <...
There's no RPG on this list at all. My favorite genre still gets forgotten in the ether....

That's why I wait for price drops, wait for reviews, wait to hear other people's experiences, wait for GotY editions, wait for the patches to be released, wait, and wait to see what's bullshot. I'm tired of waiting too, the industry does nothing but hurt itself when it cuts content or pushes games out early for the sake of profit.

At the price MS was asking for their digital future anyone would have better off buying a PC instead of a ONE. With the cost of Live, the higher price point of game due to lack of competition, many non multiplayer games having no need for a consistent online connection and more there would be no reason to buy an MS console because it would be a rip off. I completely understand the game takes awhile to get into, I mean it takes 30 hours just to get to the job system mechanics, I guess I just found enough charm in the world discovery and characters that it made it worth it for me. It's all just difference of opinion :D
I would say Legend of Legaia would be the one I felt wasn't worth the time in the PS1 era, I watched half of a friends 75 hour playthrough and still fail to see why anyone found that game engrossing or interesti...
