I'm going to rent it, I didn't like Oblivion like I really thought I would so I'm going to try it first. Hope I feel differently this time since the production quality looks through the roof.
I am just a bit annoyed by the misleading titles. Not like it came from an article, just some gallery. New Gears 2 Screens! makes more sense.
Also there are a lot of edited shots for this game, show actual 360 captures.

Square makes quality games but, unlike last gen, they aren't the top of the console dev tree. Their games will likely be similar to old FFs and we can do better this gen.
When FFXIII comes out it will likely underwhelm, SE has just waited too long. 1. The number of affected textures is VERY LOW
2. The game is NOT sub-720
3.Te framrate is about 30fps 90% of the time.
Holy god help me for the internet is full if blind followers and reporters who report crap.
There are issues with certain textures as reported already, 2k are working on that. Other than that they are identical +added blur on PS3 for edges(loos very nice in motion in my opinion)

same textures + blur, the big daddy texture is an exception. They are looking into it.
ALSO!!! The Community Manager NEVER said anything negative other than this not their idea of quality either and so they are looking into it. Way too much negativity over a texture.

I really can't wait, its not hyper realism but it is very crisp and detailed.
Honestly though it looks as real as Gears 2, which I don't think is striving for hyper real either. Both pretty but games like FC2 and Fallout 3 (to an extent) have a more real tone.
That was great, this game has had a heavy graphic jump recently, looks very nice and the animation was extremely fluid.

The ps3 version is confirmed 720p no AA like 360 but uses some other technique to soften edges.
Unless something large changed it should not be upscaled. They should do a bit of research at least.

Wii will drop to $200 I think, PS3 most likely a $50 drop early next year.
