I just got a new laptop and it is running vista, really it isn't as bad as I had heard, that being said it is a very high end notebook. For the most part the compatibility can be fixed with workarounds but it is definitely the weal point of vista.
Also I do not think the issue should be blamed on manufactures, if it all worked on XP then MS could have had it all running on Vista if they really tried to.
It'll be really annoying if they release a new Windows too soon,...

It is looking very strong, every JRPG fan should be looking out for this game.
First off, R1 is a bad game to compare.
Still though the sharpness and definition is HUGE.
Can someone tell me what is with the ridiculously bulky steroid character trend? Gears started it, they look ridiculous, then Chris Redfield of RE5 got slightly infused with it, now this.
Its just silly, Nathan Hale has the tiniest bit of it in the sequel but at least he still looks human.

I really dislike Eurogamer, this is a good score coming from them but I still think their reviews are very bad.
Most of their reviews read like rants.
I have no issue with QTEs, as long as they are handled well. God of War handles them well, they are there but it doesn't feel like they completely take over and are just for visual flare.
I will say that I really want a developer to add this visual flare without QTEs if possible, but so far I have yet to see that done well.
Maybe GOW3 will do it, that would be awesome.

this is the poorest set of comments I've seen on N4G...
Dethrone? No. However this and Fable 2 easily surpass anything SE has released scale wise(mostly because of the online features, WKC is also pulling off some nice sized enemies), that being said we haven't seen much of FFXIII yet.

I usually wait for IGN, Gametrailers (only commentary), 1up, and player impressions. So far everything has been more positive than any other game I have seen so I'm still extremely excited.
Interesting, I never really gave thought to water. That would definitely pose some interesting issues though. Would cardboard get soggy? Would sponges retain water? Would sackboy retain water? lol imagine a waterlogged sackboy
Honestly water may need to be a LBP2 thing, it would be awesome though.
