Hey do many people still play Lost Planet 2 online? I thought the first one was great and loved the MP but didn't get the second game.
It was hard but I didn't find it frustrating because there was always a right way and a wrong way to finish a level with no other variables like "realistic" physics.
Trials HD was a frustrating game, so are lot of driving games, Forza Motorsport multiplayer is hands down the most frustrating gaming experience I've ever had due to the number of griefers and general idiots online , public games are not even worth playing.
The only problem I have with Amalur is that it's way too easy, on hard difficulty I didn't die at all until the final battle of the main story and even then it was because I couldn't figure out what to do. In all other areas it's a far superior game to Skyrim, the crafting is more complex and engaging, the combat is far more strategic and what's more it's fun, the story and lore is better and it's a much faster paced game altogether, there's no trudging around ...

Yeah I was playing Amalur on hard and last night I did die a few times in the final battle until I figured out what to do.
I used to have real problems with depression and substance abuse and I definitely used to retreat into gaming as well, I'd be at the computer for 12-14 hours a day when I was off work. But the things that made the most difference were giving up drinking, smoking and drugs, getting regular exercise and a solid 8 hours sleep a night.
I'm still playing games for around 20 hours a week but the depression is much easier to deal with when it rears it's ugly head, now I can pret...
Shooters used to have depth as well, the original Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon games were incredibly involved, you had to plot waypoints, set actions and ROE, if you messed it up it was back to the mission planing screen and try again. My big gripe is that RPGs are now way too easy, honestly, I've now put 35 hours into Kingdoms Of Amalur without dying once and I'm almost to the end of the main storyline.
I agree, my game of the year is always the one I've spent the most time playing, so this year it's Forza 4.
I played through the story in AC but had no desire to go back and finish the game, I've always hated the combat, to me it's the least appealing aspect of the game.
So they're all bisexual right? I keep forgetting my character is a woman and I've had my eye on Ysolda for a while.
Sounds like something from Saints Row The Third.
That'd be a valid point if this was a multiplayer game, as it is they're only affecting their own games.
I exploit the weak AI all the time, like running them in circles around a column or a rock so they can't hit me but I can fill them with arrows or use magic.
The game was built a certain way, people can play it however they like, just as you have to go out of your way to make Skyrim hard, you can go out of your way to make it easy too.
I'm assuming he was talking about the final battle in the Mages college quest line, I found that not so much hard as tedious, it took me a good half an hour of exploiting the fairly poor AI pathfinding, the slow time shout and the old "hide and heal" technique.
The only issue I have is whether to exploit the AI or play fair.
The mind boggles.
I'm in australia and XBL is down, has been for about an hour and a half, I got the prompt for the update then an error message.
So it's back to Skyrim for the duration...and I was just in the mood for some BF3.
According to my stats my best gun is the AEK-91, I'm noticing a lot of my deaths lately are from people using the SKS so it must be a cool gun too.
I'm mildly interested in this game, Bioshock 2 was OK but the WOW! factor wasn't there like with the first instalment.
Both Bioshocks were good value, any campaign that goes over about the 15 hr mark is a bit too long IMO.
Sexy time while playing Skyrim would be the goal then?
Mass Effect was great despite it's technical flaws, Mass Effect 2 not so much, again, as above,I burned through ME:2 in a week and traded it, I played through ME three times.
Exactly,I just didn't care about the characters in DA:2, none of them even came close to Morrigan, Alastair or Shale.
As for the story I also just stopped caring by the time it got into the second era, I can't actually remember any of the plotlines whereas writing this comment is bringing back all the memories of Origins.
I think the obvious point is that turn based combat isn't "obsolete", we had literally hundreds of RPG's up to this point which we...
Hmm, I liked Chromehounds a lot more than Armored Core 4 or For Answer, I might pick this up, I wonder if you can gift the specs for different builds to team mates ?
