I feel the same, the only RE game I've ever completed was the first one, I too respect what the games try to do only I actually thought RE5 was awful compared to the others.
LOL, poor little critter, who says gaming isn't educational, that kid just learned that there's no such thing as a free lunch.
Funniest thing we ever did on BLOPS was once when we could hear this little kid's mother in the background we got him to repeat a whole lot of detailed sexual stuff that he didn't really understand out loud, his mother flipped out, grabbed his headset and started screaming at us, it was pretty funny.
Serves her right for letting her k...
Magna Carta 2 takes the cake for overly sexualised female characters, if you like big boobs it's the game for you. I'm playing FFXIII-2 at the moment....I think I might download that costume for Serah.
I thought The Last Remnant Was excellent too, it was a 360 exclusive then ported to PC later.
Yeah Deadly Premonition should definitely be on the list, it's one in a million alright.
I played through ME1 three times and it's one of the few games I still remember really well, ME2 I finished and had it back to EB before the 7 day return period was up, I remember very little about it and had no desire to go through it again.
That's all good as long as it means something, say if items and upgrades are made really expensive, I usually find I have thousands of gold and nothing to spend it on, when I finished Dragon's Dogma I had about three million in the bank and due to my high level and over powered party I had no need of consumables or upgrades. The crafting and upgrade system and even the skill trees/perks were not central to my Skyrim experience, to be honest I pretty much ignored them.

Yeah so did I, it's an enjoyable enough 15 hours or so, I even liked the racing, though the MP was kind of pointless, the co-op missions were fun too because they fleshed out the story a bit more
Dead Island wasn't too bad but the novelty wore off pretty quick for me because it was just constant combat and not much else, Brink was so broken on release that it never had a chance, if it was a $10 download and had been marketed the same way as Gotham City Impostors it would probably have been a minor hit.
Dragon's Dogma is basically a linear game set in a very big world with a ton of quests to do, if you wander around exploring you'll only find yourself frustrated because the quest structure sends you to every important location with a specific objective, Example, I discovered the water god's temple by accident and spent a couple of hours going through it all, got the tablets, sold them and then realised I had to go and do the whole thing again for the Wyrm Hunt. Due to a corrupted...
Dragon's Dogma is everything it claimed to be and more, it's one of the most unique and complex action RPG's on the market, I really liked Amalur too but I thought it was way too easy. This is a dumb list, they've put great games on there for stupid reasons, Resonance of Fate was fantastic but the author has included it because of it's release date?
Innovative RPG's and quirky action games like Shadows of the Damned are a niche market, it's like comparing...
Conviction was crap, there's nothing like a wonky third person cover shooter to ruin your day, the controls were so frustrating, controlling Fisher felt like he weighed about two kilos.
Contrast it with Arkham City, Catwoman and Batman felt different, Fisher should control like a big, heavy 100 kilo man, not a little 45 kilo girl.
Ranger or Rogue for me, rockin the magic archer in Dragon's Dogma at present.
Yeah but funny is funny, the "Kill your dick" scene in Bulletstorm wasn't really the same as the "Taste my big boner!" scene in SOTD,....which was a damn sexy game, that scene where he's crawling all over the giant naked image of his wife was something else....*phew*
I returned my copy, the multiplayer is nothing special and the fact that all classes have a sensor makes it's objective based gameplay somewhat redundant, imagine playing Demolition in Black Ops with the Blackbird turned on full time.
If you look at the post match scoreboard there's not much of a spread, in the two dozen or so matches I played everyone had a similar K/D and there's a lot of frag fights and camping. What I'm saying is it's not a competitive shoote...
One of the best things about BFBC2 was the destructible environments.
I never got frustrated with that game the way I did with BF3, BC2 would still often turn into a sniper fest but it was less of a pain than it is in BF3 because of the smaller maps, I got sick of seeing snipers in BF3 taking off in a chopper or a jet then dumping it when they got to their spot.
Add co-op to Just Cause and you basically have Crackdown...or Red Dead Redemption for that matter, open world co-op is boring, you need structure for it to be really fun..Horde, Firefight, L4D etc.
Yeah I was thinking today on how violent DD is, I've just been sitting with a huge grin on my face the whole time, lopping the tail off a Saurian while your Warrior holds it down is just plain awesome, throwing downed Goblins (and Rabbits) over the edge of a cliff never gets old either.
The Pawns are an outstanding innovation, I released one I'd had for a few hours yesterday then met her today walking along a track out in the middle of nowhere, she'd gone up five levels in the meantime and had new gear.
It's just great to swap them in and out and see the results in combat, I've got a mage at the moment who's all set up for fire and she just incinerates mobs like it's going out of style and buffs your weapons as a priority.
I did all the quests in the village and some grinding in the Witchwood and Bandit fort and was at level 16 when I got to the Capitol, since combat is so open ended the only thing I can suggest is to spend as many points as you can on skills for you and your main pawn, make sure you have all the slots and augments filled.
I'm playing it safe with a Magick Archer and Sorcerer with two hired warriors, one tank and one attacking.
I think the first game I ever played on XBL might have been either TOCA 3 or Forza, there were no kids online that I remember, the first time I ever encountered kids en masse was around 2007 playing COD3.
I think the point is that games like Unreal Tournament, Quake etc were a lot harder and played faster than today's COD, or Halo, for example I don't run into a lot of kids playing Gotham City Impostors or Dead Space 2 online.
