Yeah, I know what that's like, you see something on Steam that's 75% off and think "Man I've always wanted to play that... and it's only $5.99! (squeal!)"
My kids are (a) older and (b) girls and I've tried to rope them into playing splitscreen or co-op but they're really not interested. I've even suggested to my wife that we play WOW or EVE together but she'd rather play Farmville with her friends..(sniffle) :(
I've got a couple of games on Steam that I've hardly touched, Hearts Of Iron III, X3 Albion Prelude and Endless Space but the 360 "pile of shame" is pretty low at the moment, I'm still plodding my way through Skyrim and Battlefield 3 multiplayer but aside from a couple of bargain bin purchases nothing is sitting there reminding me that it cost fifty dollars and hasn't been opened yet.
Which,CTF or Air Superiority?
CTF will be good, shotguns at two paces LOL.
I don't think I've ever flown a jet so air superiority is of no interest to me.
Who makes the bulk of the games? Why shouldn't the people who make the games represent themselves in their art?
Nobody complains about Dynasty Warriors or Persona do they?
The negative behaviour really only occurs in multiplayer in certain games, you see kids who have African Avatars in Call Of Duty running around screaming racial eptihets all the time.
It doesn't matter if you make all the characters sexless, raceless robots the negative behavior will keep occuring because it's really got nothing to do with games in the first place.
So what? Do some reading the ANC killed twice as many people as the AWB, most of them Black Africans.
Are you seriously suggesting that video games are a method of power projection by White supremacists?
Funny, most White supremacists see them as promoting race mixing, negative stereotypes of Whites and African American gang life.
It's really not worth your time arguing with me because you know you'll lose based on the fact that your position is a house of car...
Do you mean "good" in a moral sense or "believable".
Here are a few.
Wei-Shen, Sleeping Dogs.
Marcus Reid, True Crime NYC.
David Anderson, Mass Effect
How many violent, negative, insane and perverted White characters are there in video games compared to non White?
Where's the non White equivalents of Handsome Jack, Postal Guy, Buck Hughes or Hoyt Volker?
For the record European people are the minority, we're only about 8% of world's population so from an objective point of view this article is silly, but we must press on because this is so silly it must be nipped in the bud.
Guys it's impossible to argue with the race griefers they're not rational people. The image of violent White male is a Leftie's ultimate fantasy because it conforms to their warped world view, even though the stereotype is offensive and not at ...
Yeah co-op would be good, there aren't many action games where you can co operate to build things like bases etc, it's usually just blowing the hell out of everything. I liked Dead Island but it was very limited and at heart it was just another war game.
I hope it's a bit more focused than it appears, I'm interested to see how it all works but I don't do well on really open ended games, I lose interest pretty quickly.
Agreed, I thought Vanquish was a great game but I wouldn't have wanted it to go on much longer than it did, as the other poster said these are games you can play through in two or three sittings but they're easy to learn, hard to master, on the higher difficulties you have to do everything perfectly, which takes a lot of skill and practice and therefore time. In the end you're so focused on the getting the gameplay right that all other considerations go out the window.
"Please use your brains people. Don't support things that lower the standards of society that our grandfathers have fought and died for."
That'd be Great Grandfathers and they fought, died and lost, that society hasn't existed for nigh on 100 years. If you could swap a man from 1913 with a man from 2013 neither of them would be able to comprehend their new surroundings.
I'm in Australia, they're selling it for $50 Australian at JB Hi-fi.
Cool, I've just got back into BF3 after a year off, I saw the premium edition on special and thought, why not, it was worth the re buy to get the expansions at basically half price.
The dirt bikes look sick, what'll be sicker will be nailing them with the Javelin ;)
"Frankly its a coping argument. Its what makes you feel better when you know that KB&M will dust a controller competitively"
Look, who said anything about wanting cross platform play between consoles and PC, apart from the issue of balance from day one it'd be ruined by hackers, jeez it's bad enough on consoles as it is.
By all means Bungie, make a PC version, just don't link it into the console an mobile network, let them play their little ...
European descended people are about 8% of the world's population, so yeah, in reality we're the minority.
Wasn't there an audiolog which had the sound of Jack torturing and killing someone's Gay husband to make him talk? I'm sure I remember hearing something along those lines...but to these stupid hipsters who play video games once or twice a year just to be "edgy" Tiny Tina is "offensive"? Yeh fersure.
Leftists hate video games because gaming is primarily a male oriented hobby and they see masculinity as a sickness, seriously these are the people who believe that testosterone is a weapon of mass destruction and that the male brain is actually just a female brain which has been damaged by testosterone.
The right on the other hand just think that grown men shouldn't be sitting around playing with what they regard as children's toys.
The Left see male aggressio...
Eh..I played the demo, it's OK for $15 but I can't see many people picking this up when they could get Gears 3 or Ghost Recon:FS for only about ten dollars more.
There's nothing wrong with collecting just for the sake of it either, I have about a thousand CD's and a couple of hundred LP's, some of them I listened to once and some I just bought because they were rare or limited editions and never listened to. Same with comics and books, I've got thousands of them and I read maybe two or three books a year.
