I finally snapped on Saturday night and deleted GTAV from my console, after being humiliated for an hour by a crew of level 50's I finally won a race and they kicked me straight away, for all that people whined about BF3 and the servers I rarely had to deal with any crap on that game, with GTAO it's constant aggravation and the game isn't even that fun to begin with.
It was sixty bucks to download and I got about 40 hours out of it so I'm not complaining about getting...
Was that PS3 or 360?
Parks and Recreation is a funnier show.
Ha! so "Trevor" really is Canadian after all.
I thought the beta was OK, the movement speed and head bob is a little bit lumpy but I guess it's meant to simulate a person weighed down by their gear, other than that it's fine, more of the same really which is good.
So it's been proven over and over that violent games don't influence people's behaviour but somehow non violent or "ethical" games are going to be able to change the way players think?
The other point to be made is that companies like Rockstar are making games which are value neutral, they're not trying to influence anyone's sense of what's right or wrong, in my view makers of "ethical" games would be doing the exact thing that detractors o...
I think the only COD campaigns I played right through were COD3 and Modern Warfare, I don't know why they don't just work the narrative into the multiplayer.
I can relate, sometimes I can't be bothered rolling my chair two feet to my left and picking up the 360 controller.
They're getting rid of the Auction house on PC next March and isn't the whole point of the game grinding, it is for me.
It's been proven over and over that they don't, why is it that nobody ever asks "Does playing FIFA make you a better football player?" or "Does playing Cooking Mama make you a better chef?"
The overwhelming majority of people hate violence, they go out of their way to avoid it so somehow watching or playing violent games is going to totally change the way people think about violence, literally flip their deeply held convictions on their head?
Let me...
Because It costs almost twice as much in Australia as it does in the U.S, at $110 I don't care if it's 10 out of 10, it's still a rip off. When it's $50 or less I'll be sure to pick it up.
That's interesting, so you could comfortably fit all the inner suburban hipsters of Melbourne into Los Santos LOL
Misogyny is the wrong word in this context, technically so is sexism, I've never seen or played a game that incited hatred of women or even denigrated them.
GTA games are a satire of contemporary American pop culture, apparently GTAV nails it perfectly, it's pop culture in general which portrays women in this light.
Heck I don't even like GTA games but I'm moved to defend them on this point because let's face it, slutty women, gold diggers, prostitutes, por...
Can you just get over the Gold subscription? It's $70 a year, I make that in an hour on some projects, get a better job if you can't afford a piddly amount like that.
It depends, if you play carefully and loot every corpse, chest and barrel, watch all the cutscenes and collect all the lore maybe 12 hours. In co-op it goes a lot faster because people tend to just run through.
Diablo III is a great game, I can't wait for the expansion.
The thing is though. For all the T&A Japanese games are remarkably un-sexy, I like women and I like gaming but Suda 51's depiction of women does nothing for me. It's like the Miley Cyrus "controversy", I thought her act was clever and pretty funny but it wasn't alluring, it was burlesque comedy. none of this "raunch culture" is meant to be taken seriously, it's silly and ironic, the people who are offended by it need to get out more, go to a cabaret or ...
Ech, with me it's air inferiority, yes I admit in nearly three years I still haven't got a single jet kill.
Then the first DLC "Back To Karkand" was free, so technically 13 maps.
Yeah it really requires difficult decisions and you pay the price for making the wrong choices, a great game, you go along all right for a few days then your best character gets jumped by a freak and killed in two seconds and you have to re-think your whole strategy for getting through the next day, totally worth playing...if a bit stressful at times.
