Almost completely except for Dark Souls, that is a very western styled game mind.
I backed this game for the minimum amount, £20ish I think. Every few months I download it and give it another shot in the hopes there's something of value there and each time I almost immediately delete it. It's a horrible janky joke at this point, even the basics are horrible and unfun. What a disaster this is most likely going to be, people will be very angry when they realise they wasted all of that money.
I want it to turn out good, but all signs point to i...
I doubt the xXboxXxOneXx Could handle 1080p60, that's my point. Framerate is more important than resolution. I can't believe 1080p60 isn't a standard yet on console, surely that should be the minimum for anyone that has played that way. If Sony and Micorsoft had focused their hardware and software on that standard, then we would likely have had some actual innovation this gen.
All of these attempts at pushing 4K is just to tick some boxes and likely to just to ...
I didn't mention 4K, I mentioned the framerate, btw, a five year old cpu could give 4K60 if coupled with a recent GFX card. One point I was trying to make is that the cpu in the XBOneX is a joke (same for the Pro) and they should be embarrassed about it. 1080p60 is far more relevant to most gamers and contributes more to gameplay than the gimmick that is 4K30, that's my main point. The cpu's in those consoles should've stayed in the cheap laptop they took them from. \/ \/
Is it the best though when it's only 30fps and a 5 year old PC cpu can run in at double the framerate?
Doubt I'll buy an AMD cpu again after my disppointment with the FX8120 and FX8350. Too many times the last five years I had to make do with a shoddy framerate in the hopes the 8 cores would finally be taken advantage of (hint: they lied). A few days ago I finally sidegraded my PC and went with a five year old I7 (3820, it was a gift) and I'm getting an extra 20fps+ in games like Arkham Knight and WoW.
You really do get what you paid for.
Yeah I get that, it's all good.
That controllers need aim assist to function in an fps show they are not fit for purpose. The fps was designed with a kb&m in mind and it shows. Saying that, if players prefer a controller and need aim assist then all power to them (aim assist should have parity with the console versions though), I still much prefer my way. I played the beta with my dad and he uses a controller, I double his kills mind, might be because he's getting on a bit though...
I'd say eventually you'll get annihilated if you stick to the controller, the skill gap will only widen going forward. I'd try to get used to it now, eventually you'll be glad you did. It helps to have a mouse with several buttons on it, that way you can split the hotkeys between the mouse and keyboard.
As an example, my friend played Destiny 1 a lot and I didn't because I'm a PC gamer, pretty much every time we do a Firestrike together in the beta ...
Getting a lot of disconnects, hope they fix it before launch. They do have a couple months to be fair.
I guarantee it will be some crappy 2 hour Halo experience, hope I'm wrong.
Saying that, maybe HP's might be worth a look if it's better quality and affordable, certainly it doesn't look as cheaply made as the others.
Yeah I heard that, also the lenses are worse quality than the already shoddy fresnel lenses in the other two and the fov is even lower if you can believe that, you really do get what you pay for with Microsoft's offerings it seems. I'm going to wait for a second gen headset, none of the current ones are close to being good enough for me yet.
Looks like the same old crap Sonic Team have been pumping out for the last few generations.
@ The_Sage I'm just saying maybe you're not as grown up as you think you are, or maybe you've grown up too much and become a grumpy old man ;)
“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concer...
Kind of, a lot of it happened during hectic combat and so I missed most of it.
For me Platinum charge AAA prices for indie quality games, that there is their problem.
@FunAndGun, you know what they say about those that resort to ad hominems, that their position is so weak that they resort to personal insults.
Also, if you want a cpu that is better than one found in a 5 year old mobile device, then buy a PC.
