They sure killed Micro Machines.
BotW is highly overrated though, the same can't be said for Ocarina. The former did some things really well, many reviewers seemed to ignore it's many faults for some reason.
It's fake news, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it..."
I think that was the only innovation that I hope many others borrow. I found BotW rather sterile and paste/copy boring overall, but now that I've played it I expect all games of that ilk to let me do the same, games like WoW are even more insufferably archaic in comparison, anyone that's played WoW's last two expansions knows what I'm talking about, navigating their maze like zones is a nightmare, I played 2 months of Legion and won't ever be going back, it's that bad....
The only series of games made in that style that I like is the Arkham series (and to a lesser degree Shadow of Mordor), I know they took a bunch from Ubisoft and vice versa, Rocksteady made them much more fun though. The rest just bore me to tears (including the overrated BotW). Never tried Horizon though, but that looks like a prettier version of all of those games (well AK is a more impressive game imho), it's just pasted and copied the same old formula and people lap it up.
@ Genuine-User It's not one or the other idiot.
I've heard it's very low on content though, I'm hoping that's just the beta though and not what they'll ship with. That is to say it needs 100x more content currently in beta to be worth the price they are asking for. If it ships with little content with the promise that it'll have a lot more added, then they should release it cheaper and/or under the early access monicker.
Loved that game, really hope it would come to Steam.
I much preferred it to City, even now I go back to Knight just to drive around the city so much, it's so darn fun. Tried City again recently and it felt like a major step back. Origin was bad though, couldn't make it more than a few hours, it was such a drop in quality.
Arkham Knight ended up being my fave of the three, it in no way disappointed me, not when they finally fixed the PC version anyway.
I agree, but not about Crysis 2.
ODST had a far better campaign.
I didn't need another reason to not buy this game, so glad this games sales have been much lower than the poor first games.
All I know is this video is hilarious! https://www.youtube.com/wat... It's funny cos it's true.
You're right, they are far worse than the one they are attacking. The Marxist left usually are the biggest hypocrites I've noticed.
Theres no such thing as bad publicity, I've started getting Pewdiepie videos recommended to me today, so it's having the opposite effect than the sjw's wanted I guess. I haven't watched Pewdiepie videos in years but figured wth, I watched the video "It's all over" and wow, it was hilarious and insightful and not pandering to any sjw group, how refreshing.
Now I'd rather he toned down his language, racial slurs included, but I'm glad th...
You will if you want above 30fps.
I hope they're not paying them that much.
I know for a fact that most of the AAA gaming budgets go towards marketing, I never felt right about that. Surely the majority of the money should go towards the actual product itself, if it's good then the word will get out, I suspect if they didn't spend so much marketing the game, the sales lost would still add up to far less than what they spend on marketing.
It's not like they have to stop mar...
