I will buy a PS4 if Bloodborne gets the kind of reviews I suspect it will get, the rest is a bunch of meh imo, except maybe Killer Instinct. Sunset Overdrive looks fun for the kids as well I guess.
This is the way to do it, unique skins are absolutely fine, unique weapons/armour/levels etc are not.
You must have deformed hands if the 360 controller is uncomfortable to you.
It's biggest Achilles heel is it's lack of system selling games, that may change for me when Bloodborne comes out, but yeah the controller would be it's second or third weakest point, it's updates/online being up there as well. The way and rate at which the PS3 updated was painful, I really hoped they would've fixed that by now.
The dualshock has always been a horrible controller, Playstation gamers just got used to mediocrity I guess, glad the new one is...
It's a dev kit, /facepalm.
Is it arrogant to be better and know it and with that knowledge give good advice to your competitors? Of course not, if you want to see arrogance then look no further than Sony during the PS3's early days.
All tech sites that I have read have given the Rift the edge in every way that matters. The Morpheus is quite far behind really, which is fine, if and when Sony take it seriously (they aren't, their financial foes prevent any risk taking) they can maybe catch up. I doubt they have people as smart as Carmack working on it though so I'm not full of confidence.
Also the controls were finicky and the gameplay was lacking in variety, other than that it was a good game.
It's highly overrated, I bought the first one and found it meh compared to the brilliant Mario 64 and Super Mario World. The second I recently tried to see what all the fuss was about. It's charming and all but again it falls far short of even the best of Mario games. To say either is the best game ever is to be delusional imo. That honour falls on Dark Souls (again imo).
They do need to add a lot more game to it that's for sure. I'm in the beta and it has a lot going for it, but there's little structure atm, it feels bare bones. I know they will flesh the game out as time goes on but so far apart from docking I've not had much fun.
Docking with the hotas I bought for it is a joy though. They added some licences to the tutorial recently, I hope the finished game has a ton of them that you have to do , like Gran Turismo's
That's why I'm waiting for the next-gen to have games that are worth playing now, anything else is foolishness.
Yeah I hate that I will probably have to buy on for Bloodborne. But Dark Souls was my favourite game of last generation, part of me hopes it scores badly as it will save me £329, only part of me mind.
I think it's less to do with the strength of the Playstation brand (or the power under the hood) although it is that a little, but more to do with Microsoft making one bonehead decision after another before and during the X1's launch. Enough to put me off ever getting one despite how much I enjoyed the first two xbox's. I will probably get a PS4 because it's the only legitimate alternative left, mainly because of Bloodborne though.
Why is this series not on the PC?
Perhaps a spectacle fighter based on the Dota 2 licence.
You jelly bro?
Dark Souls without the intimidation is no Dark Souls at all. It's why I'll wait for a steam sale of this game. Bloodborne, you're my only hope.
Yeah it's an improvement on the DS3 but it's still a world away from the 360 pad, someone needs to make a replica of it for the PS4, I really want to play Bloodborne but the pad is putting me off.
Tolkien was a technophobe so I doubt it!
The equivalent to using Jesus as a swear word (I hate it) would be to use Mohammad not Allah, I double dare you to do that cos Muslims couldn't give two hoots about Allah, they hold their "prophet" in much higher regard for whatever reason (idolatry).
