70% of Ps3 owners own a Blu-Ray movie. However, only 50% know of it's Blu-Ray high definition capabilities. There are a lot of uninformed people right now, mostly because of amount of units sold as of now. But, be sure that is going to change as more consoles are sold.
You picked the Ps3, and Blu-Ray was an added bonus. Just so everyone knows, the PS3 does use Blu-Ray disk for GAMES. Yes, even if you don't like the fact that it's a Blu-Ray player, it still has a very important function as a game device.

One reason why Fox / Disney etc.. will never support HD-DVD is because it's region free.
Clearly these people didn't take enough time to truly dive into the game. I have played in the closed Beta, and it is one of the BEST multi player games I have played for a console in a long time. It's just simply FUN, it's not too tasking or "serious."
The balance of the game is almost perfect, other then some hiccups with some guns. I don't see how this game can get a 6.5, when it's so addictive. What are the standards for rating a game these days?

A lot of people are upset that the Folklore demo is the only game we will be getting. But that is an assumption made from bad comprehension of the English language. The article is a speculation, one of the games we know is going to be out is Folklore demo. There might be a lot more in store.
The Ps1 and Ps2 also had value packs, the 360 had value packs 6 months into it's life span. And if you do remember the Wii is essentially a value pack, since it comes with Wii Play already included.
It should state "360 / PC release that won't come to the Ps3". The 360 doesn't do 7.1 or even 5.1 over HDMI. There are a few games on that list that are also coming to the Ps3, 2 day to Vegas for example.
The only thing holding me, and a lot of gamers back from totally converting to Linux is the lack of game support. As for Windows Vista, we don't NEED a new OS, XP is very stable now. Why would anyone want to upgrade to a new OS, that requires new hardware.
The 360 sells roughly 160 thousand units a month, did you just pick those numbers out of your head? Japan is the second largest console market after the United States. Europe & Others is the third largest market for console sales.
The Ps3 outsells the 360 in Europe and Japan every month, and in the United States, August will probably be the first month that the Ps3 will take over #2 spot in sells after the Wii.

Didn't sell well on the Xbox, sold reasonably good on the Ps3.

Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, the most anatomical and graphically impressive game to hit a console ever. Wasn't mentioned? And what about Ratchet and Clank it has Pixar graphics for goodness sakes.. and why are all the games shooters?
If anyone says ME isn't a shooter, look at it's core game play elements and get back to me.

The X-Game 360 is more reliable then the Xbox 360.
Final Fantasy 7 had a budget of 30 million with over 100 staff working on it. Metal Gear solid games have always had a large amount of people working on it, and the coast to make the game was around 20 million or so, even for the older systems.

Eye of Judgment is going to be HUGE in Japan, and in the U.S.
You have no clue how much kids invest in these card games. I remember when Pokemon first came out, people would buy these packs for upwards of $20 dollars, and trade the rare ones for as much as $500 dollars or more. Don't underestimate a game simply because kids are playing it.
Learn to READ, they only have 250 employees not 1,200. They already sold and restructured their companies, they fired more then 700+ employees. Or sold the companies to other investment groups. Again, LEARN TO READ.
