The problem is that Iwata said it wouldnt rival the Wii U. If that is the case then why would it be a home console? If it is in fact definitely a home console, is it their next high end console or a streaming machine for their VC titles? Will it be an extension of the 3DS, something to play 3DS games on a large tv? Those are the important questions. Just because it is a home console doesnt mean that it is the replacement fort he Wii u and Nintendo's new powerhouse home console.

Yes! They are literally treating us like we are the @$$holes because we didnt appreciate their showing. I dont get that at all. I am willing to bet that 75 percent of the people playing on PS4 and XBOX would gladly welcome and buy a Nintendo console that was properly supported, had on par with its generation graphics, less unique controls, and was advertised properly.

As someone who has defended Nintendo in so many articles, I have to agree. The line up is still great. We do get Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fatal Frame, Devils Third, Star Fox, Super Mario Maker, Yoshis Wooly World, and Fast Racing Neo. Those are all going to be great games to play!

The concept, or at least what i gathering from the cinematic, is very interesting. From the makers who did Metroid Prime is very promising. Why wouldnt they just say Retro Studios though? Either way this is at the top of my most anticipated New IPs list. It is right next to Horizon, Scale Bound and, Even though we didnt see it, Devils Third.
It looked like a wii game graphically in its textures but remastered in 1080P 60 FPS. I dont know for sure if it is 1080P but I do know they focused very heavily on perfect and steady 60 FPS. Holo lens has an opportunity of reviving it. I use it every day to turn my system on, change channels, log into XBL, change apps, play and pause TV, and turn the system off. It is actually very useful. If integrated correctly it can be amazing. It worked really well in that Minecraft demo they showed.
It better be true and they better not screw with the mechanics. I want a straight full remake of what the game was. If they change the controls it will suck IMO. It needs to just be a beautiful and detailed version of the orriginal game on a new system. If it aint broke dont fix it SE!

No. I owned 2 xbox 360s over the years. I bought one day one when they came out and it didnt work out of the box. Got a replacement 3 weeks later and three years after that the wonderful red ring of death ate it up. I never bought another one. I bought an XB1 at launch and it has been fine.
I only recently bought another 360 because there are a ton of games I missed out on playing because of mine breaking three years in. So I bought another one for 80 ...
The crappy thing for me is that I just bought an XB 360 with HDMI when Gamestop had them on sale for $80. Wasted ass money at this point. I love this idea but some heads up would have been nice.
Nintendo has already said the NX wont replace the Wii U. So why the ignorant ideas that huge games will be coming to it? They also said that there will be nothing on the NX this year. So why would they announce games on a system that isnt even being talked about this year? The Wii U is here for two more uears so it has 5 years under its belt. Get that through your heads people. It will be Holidays 2017 before we see that system on shelves. They always go 5 years or slightly more.
Same here. I actually played a bunch of HW the other day. I still havent finished all the DLC in that game. Maybe by 2016 when LOZ releases I will be done with it lol.

Very astute observation. I actually think that is all it is. I am also not against paid DLC like new missions and stuff. Oblivion, Skyrim, Dragon age games, Fable, TLOU, and even Killzone all have stuff like this and nobody seems to really care because they had fun with their games initially and felt it was a good value. Why not extend it a little longer for 10 bucks or so.

I am pretty sure that Mario Kart 8 disproves your theory of them having difficulties in HD gaming. Their games have the steadiest FPS for being HD than any others. However that doesnt mean that I think the NX will be a success. The NX will fail without killer hardware, third party support, and BIG NAME first party launch titles and exclusives. It MUST have all three of those components to be successful. Take one away and 80 percent of the gaming world will over look it.
