Ok so Federation Force is a stand alone game that kinda fills a gap in the story about what exactly the federation is doing to help the fight against the bad guys. Dude the very first Halo released on XBOX before XBOX live existed as a launch title. It was only a local multiplayer or system link game until Halo 2 and then the Anniversary edition later of Halo. Also the orriginal sold over 5 million copies in just a few years. So Online Multiplayer is not what made it popular. I really liked ODST. I am looking forward to Halo 5 and will be day one for me after seeing warzone. But ODST was so much different than other Halo games. It felt fresh to me and had a sense of old soul feel to it. Almost like a crime Drama lived in the aftermath of a war in the Halo universe. It was a good game. I am not a Bungie fan but did really enjoy that game.

I would wait until they publish a complete launch list closer to this fall. No sense in doing something and then a lot of the games you want to play arent on the list. Im sure most will be but I would wait personally.

What sucks is that I bought another XB360 a few weeks before this announcement lol. Of well I can play them for now and then put my 360 in my sons room and he can play with it while I play my games on my XB1. Guess it wasnt a bad deal.
The thing is that nobody is really saying they dont want any gimmicks at all. But when the system is designed that those gimmicks are pratically forced on third party developers it makes designing multiplat games a pain in the ass and take longer. So why do it? The answer is third parties wont because of the lack of third party games on the Wii u.

Metroid is one of the extremely few more mature IPs Nintendo owns. Metroid Prime 1, 2, and 3, had very deep amounts of lore with bodies laying around and stories of war and bounty hunters and death. This new 3DS game looks like Metroid meets the lolli pop guild from the Wizard of Oz. They are small little clunky people.
