I know a lot of people like that as well. I find it kind of silly because not every game needs a tacked on online mode to be fun. Like the guy above said, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune didn't have an online mode, but I played through its 8-15 hour story mode several times, so I felt that I got my moneys worth.
Honestly, I don't even play online in most games for longer than I have to for the reviews. Games like Killzone 2, Halo 3 and Left 4 Dead are great games that focus on mult...
I see guys destroy building all the time with hammers and such. They're called construction workers. :)
You're entitled to your opinion but let's not take things to far. Highlander caused my eyes to bleed that one time I stumbled home and it happened to be on the Action channel.
Would anyone care to elaborate on what made it fail? I know it's a short demo but I had a lot of fun just randomly causing destruction. I'm tired of open world games with nothing to do outside of missions.
It's funny that you say that. Perhaps they way they set up the zooming is remesisent of Mass Effect because I thought the same thing at one point. Also, Mass Effect had some bland worlds as well. Now I want to play Mass Effect 2. :) I also want to watch the Mass Effect movie that I suggested that may never be made.
I see what you're saying to an extent but I disagree. Maybe it's just because I just finished playing the worst open world game that I have played in years, The Godfather II but the recent Red Faction Guerrilla demos impressed the hell out of me. It may not dominate in terms of sale when compared to Infamous and Prototype but I see it getting great scores. The level of destruction that you can cause in this game is what people have been dreaming about since the birth of the open world genre. ...
I clearly loved it. I've been pretty bored with the open world genre for a while but I can't wait for this, Infamous and possibly Prototype. Prototype is the least appealing to me based on what I have seen but I hope that it's worth a purchase.
Thanks for the compliment. It made me smile like a young school lass. Anyway, in regards to tap outs, I believe the guy you are facing must be extremely worn out. I am able to get tapouts in the third round after a lot of body shots.
No problem, sir. If I were to say the game was too easy in the easy setting, then yes, I would sound like a moron. :)
I played it on extreme. I am aware of what an options menu is. It's simple on extreme if you use the tactics that I describe in the article. I like fighting games that infuriate me on a higher difficulty as I feel I get moneys worth. When I beat a game and don't feel that I was ever challenged, I feel disappointed and cheated.
Believe it or not, I ventured out into the outside world just a few moments ago. It had been several years, but I was in need of more pwn-juice. I'm sure you understand.
Yes, we've all over-dosed on win-cakes.
If I get mounted, it's somewhat difficult to get out but I was able to stuff all his takedowns with Liddell and just switch between high and low kicks until a knockout occurs in extreme several times in a row.
Yes, I was refering to the hardest difficulty in this article for the most part. You should probably go through the tutorial once more. It's dull but it's needed to win matches in extreme.
I didn't have the pleasure of playing VS with a human opponent but I found the A.I insanely easy on any difficulty setting. I just don't think that the UFC is translating well to the video game world based on this demo. MMA is very exciting to train and watch but the fights in this game seem rather dull and slow paced.
I have a lot of issues with the Smackdown series as well. It really hasn't evolved much over the years. Games like Wrestlemania 2000 for the Nintendo 64 have be...
I would have liked for matches to be available online in the demo. Also, I did change the difficulty setting to extreme and it's extremely easy using the tactics I describe in the article.
I wouldn't kiss everyone but I would hand out firm hand-shakes.
Oh, come now. She's adorable. Off topic, imagine an anime girl in real life? The eyes would be terrifyingly disproportionate.
The most important thing about a Duke Nukem movie is what I mentioned in the article itself. Mickey Rourke as Duke. What are your thoughts on this bit of action? lol
I'm not a rich man by any means, but I rarely feel like I've been ripped off by a single player only game. I just trade them in at Future Shop and get half of what I paid for them usually. So, I end up spending maybe $30 on a great game. It's worth it in my opinion to help support developers.
Dead Space probably would have been a contender for last years Game of the Year if I had my site up at the time. I played through it three times and got every trophy. It doesn't need some...
