There was nothing Solid about that supposed showcase from Xbox, what people seem to forget is that Sony have actually been releasing exclusives all generation, they've shown their major hitters for the year and they also have a ton of stuff that is confirmed to be in the works, that they just haven't talked about and no it's not just live service stuff.
Guerrilla Games, Santa Monica, London Studio, Bend, Naughty Dog, Team Asobi etc have all been deep in developm...
Very true, personally I thought it looked amazing, definitely a step up from Miles Morales and the Remaster of Spidey 1.
DF did however say it's a vast improvement in a bunch of areas, way more detail, more geometry in scenes, better effects.
If it's an opinion then it's subjective, there's nothing objective in that.
After sitting on it for a few days, I've changed my mind a bit.
People want to see game after game and show had that, people wanted to see gameplay from Spider-Man 2 and that was shown, looking better than anything we've seen before from the franchise, Insomniac Games also proved that the urban setting can look great too.
It was a packed show, with great looking games.
I get the impression that when Factions gets revealed it's going t...
As much as I would love a sequel to Days Gone I got distracted by other games, I do need to go back to it and play right through the story, but they've also been given another opportunity to make something fresh and they can use the systems they developed in their next game.
Surely if they're making a new IP it should only have delayed them a year or so.
I really the rumor about them making an open world Men in Black game is true, that IP would ma...
It was underwhelming considering how PlayStation marketed it before the event, shame there was no Last of Us Factions 2, nothing in the way of an announcement from Bluepoint Games, etc, but Spider-Man 2 looks amazing, Beat Saber shadow dropping on PSVR2 was great, there were a few gems in the announcements, but the reliance on CG for reveals of Bungie and Haven's games was disappointing.
Even though it's less than 10 years since the original version launched I'm so up for that, built with the same love and care as Demon's Souls, with Bluepoint's knowledge and skill I'm sure they'll make even more of that game.
Considering when Sony released The Last of Us Part 1 (remake), compared to the original release I wouldn't be shocked if Sony did have a Bloodborne Remake, to take full advantage of PS5's tech.
Don't mind them, they don't know what a good video game is, based on those comments.
This game is great quality, it's gameplay and art style are great.
It isn't just Breath of The Wild DLC, it's exactly what a true sequel to one of the best games every made should be!
Technically a PlayStation Fanboy here, but credit where credit is due this game is utterly amazing, it proves Nintendo needs better hardware because it's limited to 900p 30fps in docked mode, but the game is a visual marvel running on the Tegra X1.
I've only played a bit, but it's well deserved.
This has some of the best gameplay of any game for a while.
I had forgotten that, but they also did the same with Miles Morales and Rift Apart, Insomniac Games have been so productive and producing nothing but quality, so Wolverine should be top notch.
I can't wait to see what format Wolverine takes as a game, whether it's open world of more linear. I don't recall whether they've said for sure, but 3rd Person would make sense.
I'm hoping for an R Rated, gritty take on Wolverine, with great variety to the Melee com...
PlayStation have definitely been on their game, this should be exciting!
You're very right in your last reply to me, it's all positive in their minds because it means Microsoft could take something from Sony, it's fine though, because Sony will just keep creating new games that people actually want to play, the same is true of Nintendo.
Yep, Starfield still looks lifeless and dull.
Basically a poor copy of No Man's Sky, which was inventive before Bethesda tried to copy it and made a poor job of it.
Well they showed Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart when they also had Miles Morales to market, it depends on what state Wolverine is in, it's been in development for quite a while, potentially it could be a 2024 release, so Sony may want to bring it to generate excitement.
I will add though that the first time I played Tears of The Kingdom was docked on my Philips 65 Inche 707 OLED and I thought it looked great, even though it's scaled up from 900p and my display would show up major graphical issues, it still looks good, which means if it was Native 4K or AI-Upscaled using a reasonable baseline res then it would look night and day better still.
The fact this game is a technical marvel only emphasizes the need for better hardware, because ...
Of course graphics matter, just because Zelda Breath of The Wild and Tears of The Kingdom are awesome from a gameplay perspective and many like myself love the artstyle, that doesn't mean that people don't want better from the visuals and certainly performance of those games, along with the others that have been great fun to play from Nintendo.
Systems like the ROG Ally Extreme prove that way more powerful hardware, even tech between the Series S and PS5 can be put ...
Very true.
The CMA are meant to be completely aggressive and against this kind of attempt to buy the market, they're doing exactly what they were created to do!
If multiple major publishers are joined into one entity then that creates a monopoly, here's the definition of monopoly:
the exclusive possession or control of the supply of or trade in a commodity or service:
"the state's monopoly of radio and television broadcasting"
a company or group having exclusive control over a commodity or service:
"passenger services were largely in the hands of state-owned monopolies" · ...
