Nintendo is likely thinking long and hard how to approach its next system. Apparently it's going to be a hybrid of a game console and a handheld. I hope that doesn't mean once again due to costs the technical capabilities are lower than they could be.
I think Sony and Microsoft will pull away from what we know as traditional game consoles and Nintendo will keep plugging away.
Both are experienced developers and this is the first release each on the new hardware. There really is no excuse at the end of the day. Each looks good and will be reviewed accordingly for how good they are.
I don't think he's kidding. He's been in some sort of Destiny campaign trying to downplay any negativity it receives. Plus if you look at other comments he's made he's not exhibiting that same positive campaign when it comes to do with the Xbox One. In fact it seems quite the opposite so it's no wonder which side he's taken. Sad really some stoop this low when opinions should be solely based on the software.

Minecraft made over 330 million in revenue in 2013. In 2012 they made just under 240 million. So in one year they increased revenue by almost 100 million.
Microsoft will make more as they know how to market better and get more recognition. Look at how they increased the value of Halo. Sales are not slowing down for Minecraft and Microsoft is not going to invest less now into the Xbox One because of this acquisition, that has no merit at all.
This game coming to the PC is not a moot point at all. It isn't coming to the PC, at least nothing suggests it ever will, but it was asked just like many other games have been. Still no need to call someone a fanboy for asking and then acting like a bigger fanboy in the process.
Anyways we can all agree this game looks excellent.

You did nothing to correct my statement. Not everyone is going to like virtual reality. Just like how some people don't like 3D and don't like playing first person shooters as it makes them nautious. A friend of mine gets sick playing them. So again why are you getting defensive because someone got sick playing on Morpheus unless of course you really do work for Sony.
Vegamyster it is still very much an issue. Those services like GOG don't have $60 games. That's why you see less of them and more of the cheaper games. The big publishers still see piracy as an issue and are more reluctant to release their big titles on the PC. Hopefully that changes. Games like Destiny really need to be on it. It's the only place left for next gen games with free online.

Planetside 2 and DC Universe were on both console and PC. Sony also makes games on the PC.
The fact is only a fanboy would argue against this game coming out on the PC as well. Why would anyone other than a fanboy care?
Anyways this game looks like a must have. I still own my copy of Demon Souls and that game still holds up to today's games.

Sorry to say but Sony does indeed moneyhat titles. They are doing it for No Man's Sky. They are doing it with Destiny DLC (why shouldn't DLC count?). They also did it way back on the PS2 and Grand Theft Auto.
Either way it's all just business but the Fox Engine was designed to work well in various platforms

That's funny you calling someone a fanboy as you relish the idea of this game ever coming to any other platform. The game looks awesome, why do you care if it comes out later on the PC?

This issue is on Bungie's servers, not XBL or PSN. Microsoft's original idea for an always online system would require a 24 hour check in, when was the last time you couldn't connect online on the Xbox One for 24 hours?
I'm not defending those policies as I thought it was really poorly thought out but let's not turn what's happened on Destiny into the Xbox One wouldn't work because of hackers.
I like the feel and gameplay better on PES over FIFA but FIFA always has the visuals and presentation.
The Wii sold very well, does that mean everyone is obliged to say it was great? I played the destiny demo on my PS3. The gameplay was tight, looked great but reviews have highlighted my fears. The game gets quite boring with not much depth. That will change over time since this is a big project for Bungie.
The funding and advertising spent meant the game had unrealistic expectations. It's no wonder aaa games are on the demise, budgets have gotten out of hand.
Why would someone like Nathan Fallon at a media event say bad things about it? You know what is making people sick? Your notorious nature to defend things that really don't need defending unless you work for Sony.

Nvidia announced they have sold 10 million GTX 680 cards. That's just one GPU so high end gaming PC systems are still quite popular.
History has proven Nintendo's track record of dealing with third party publishers to be poor. Remember that Nintendo seal of quality in the cover of NES games? That was all a ploy to control content and how many games publishers could release. All to give more breathing room for Nintendo titles.

Virtual reality might be the next step to truly take us to new territory but I have to question its impact. I think this might be even less mainstream than what Sony tried with 3D gaming.
Most people don't want attachments on them let alone having to interact like the Move, Kinect and the Wii. Most like to be comfortable with just a controller or keyboard in their hand. Motion sickness is also a worry going to virtual reality. I myself can't wait to experience it but ...
Bloodborn, Microsoft responded by not going through with those restrictions. Microsoft also listened to feedback on Kinect and now sells it without. Why isn't Nintendo selling the WiiU without the gamepad since many have said it's not even that necessary and just adds costs? It does matter to a degree, especially for those that are fortunate to own both. If you only own one then why should it matter?
The game looks way better than Ghosts already so if they can also get the resolution up that is good. Not sure if they had enough time to take advantage of the extra power without Kinect?
