From what I've seen, played and heard, FFXVI is not an average game, just like God of War, Last of Us, Breath of the Wild etc.
When those games get a score below 8, it's not because the game is just good, it's because the journalist (who of course are allowed to have their own opinions) either looking for faults, doesn't like the platform or simply is paid/asking for clicks.

D4 and FFVIIR is available on PS4, so that sentence didn't "prove" you have PS5.
The reason I ask was because you were questioning the game, based on your thoughts of FFXV, and that you have to wait for more reviews, while the demo has been out for a week and can be played for free.

So you're referring to a Demo of a game that ain't even released, where a day 1 patch on wooping 300mb has been promised.
I however, do like mid gen updates, but using FFXVI as an example of why we would need one, is clearly not a legit reason.
