Why would Sony need to acquire SE?
They still get almost every SE released game, so why take away from other platforms?

30 hours in and can't stop playing and I'm glad there is still a lot of the rpg elements in the game, I've come to love through the almost 40 years I've been playing rpgs.

However if you accidentally (or purposely) sell the items you need to craft a specific weapon, that trophy is missable.
Luckily you need to do the same stupid misstake twice, as you need to complete Final Fantasy mode (New Game+) for the Platinum.

And still, it's an amazing game, a GOTY-candidate that is fun to play, have great story, an amazing soundtrack and visuals never seen before in a game.
For "not having an idea" what it wants to be, it's simply amazing.
As a longtime Final Fantasy fan, this is one of the best Final Fantasy games I've ever played, and seeing all the easter eggs around the world, that is huge nods to older games, puts a huge smile on my face, over and over.
They have delivered, month after month, and last half year GamePass has not been close.
Sony doesn't need to change anything, to keep PS+ attractive.
