I'm 40, have played Final Fantasy since mid 90, and right now playing one of the best games ever made.
Why would I need to "reevaluate" anything?
@Hofstaderman
I had to find it on Youtube, then ripnthe Audio.
Search for the youtube channel:

Video name:
Final Fantasy XVI vs Titan Final OST Theme
Whole song is great, but from 1.32 into the video is where I get goosebumps ❤️
@Charlie
Thanks.
I play almost every single jrpg, even if they're not good and will of course play next Granblue game 🙌
@MadLad @Reaper
Obsidian:
Since Microsoft purchased Obsidian, 2018, they've release one rpg, Outer Worlds, which was almost done and released on all platforms.
The game wasn't made during MS as owners.
InXile:
Since the purchase 2018, Wasteland 3 on PS4 and Xone, was in full development before purchase.
Bethesda:
No rpg release since purchase.
Starfield upcoming, which mainly been developed bef...
These "fans" that always think stuff about everything, that makes it a journalist dream, they must be in the millions, right?
I think Spider-Man 2 is doomed now .. //s
@Luc20
I've got 2 jobs and 2 kids (every other week).
I never have time to play through all my games, and my backlog is growing bigger every day.
However I buy everything that I might find time to play, and then some games that I make time for.
Like now, it's FFXVI.
Must play games from my list above is only Starfield, Spider-Man 2 and Avatar.
Rest would be if Inhave time.
Luckoly I'll have 1 month with BG3 a...
Yeah,
I'll do:
BG3
Starfield
Spider-Man 2
Avatar
Like A Dragon Gaiden
Atlas Fallen
Skylines 2
Helldivers 2
And whatever jrpg that comes out
Which 1st Party studio from MS has made a good RPG last 20 years?
I agree that in Final Fantasy Mode, they are a bit too much. Titan Phase 2 took over 30 minutes 😊
But still love every encounter and will soon start my third run.
3rd Phase, the one between cliffs... Music there hit do hard, I had to download the song and put it on repeat 😅
All the Eikon battles were extremely good, but my favourites are Titan and Bahamut.
I get goosebumps just thinking about them, and the music is Epic.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War (PS5, PS4)
Alan Wake Remastered (PS5, PS4)
Endling: Extinction is Forever (PS5, PS4)
Yes please.
As I see this game, next to perfect, I of course looked for stuff I didn't like, so what I would change/add in there next game or patch is:
- Voice acting also during the extremely optional extra questions you could ask the NPCs. I can't understand why 40 hours are voiced, but not those few (like what, 200-300 extra lines of dialogue when you ask specific NPCs about the Sky etc)
- Minimap or at least a compass
- More ...
The ending was perfect, no need for a sequel, however it could end up with a sequel.
One of the last scenes, at the water, is meant for a possible continuation as it's up to us, to decide what we think happened/happens.
However, I think the ending actually was fit for a real ending.
Would I want a sequel? Hell yeah, but I'm still happy if I don't get one.
How many Xbox games sell 3 million in 5 days?
And what matters most was when the games where released. FFXV during Black Week, and FFXVI during summer.
@EvertonFC
I was one of those.
I needed to play Mass Effect, Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon, and other random JRPGs that MS paid time exclusivity for, and ended up buying 3 X360 and 1 Elite.
I didn't even have gil for everything after my first playthrough.
Did all sidequests and hunts etc, and still I couldn't manage to buy every single accessory and Music Tome, even thou I never spent money on Weapons, Armlet or Necklace.
The Gil flow, is really low, but I like that 😊
I agree with this fan.
The side content are telling such a deep story about the people and the world, that I didn't find a single one mundane.
Even on my second playthrough, on Final Fantasy Mode, I did all those side quests again.
Spent over 10 hours at Harpocrates, and another 2 hours at Vivian, just to be more emerged in the lore this gave give us who wants it.
I'm 40, and started my Final Fantasy career with FFII (FFIV).
With favourites like FFVI, VII and X, XVI is absolutely one of the best of the series.
The way it tells the story, especially through sidequests is what's captivates me most, but also the gameplay, the music and the amazing bosses are on the best the series ever seen.
I don't understand why the age of 25-30 would be a bad thing thou.
