We'll never know, because they'll never consider it.
@MrDead
Won't profita rise immensly now that they bought most of the most profitable franchises in the gaming sphere?
Sell off rights to ubisoft, then buy ubisoft.
If ms leaves, Amazon, Apple or Google will step in.
He tried to escape the series for years, I doubt he'd come back now he's finally free. I did put everything he got into the series, but a lot of the games were supposed to be the last.
@Vallencer
I don't believe you. If you speak the truth, I'm sure you experienced plenty of bugs, you just didn't notice. Game is packed with visual jank, but personally I don't feel it matters that much in this particular game, most of the time it's just kinda funny.
After the 20 hour mark, I'm starting to grow tired of the game. There's good stuff i there, I generally had a good time but it also gets kinda boring as you get further in.
Quests aren't super riveting, little too much running back and forth and whenever you get to a "dungeon" it often feels like an area you've visited before. Had some fun landing i random abandoned places and fighting pirates and stuff, but after a while it all starts to feel the ...
@VictorMaje
But don't you have to have a million installs anf earnings over 200.000$ before the payments trigger?
Thought the issue was one of trust for the most part. That thet retroactively changed their tos without warning. And that they made an overly complicated system that makes it hard to predict your costs.
Rebirth really does look appealing.
The next state of play will probably be after rebirth is out, so then they'll have to find something new. But I guess they'll just switch to Kingdom hearts 4 and Wolverine.
Nintendo is really good at spin-offs and they are good at finding gems in their backcatalouge to bring back for extra attention. They've been on a roll with their gamecube stuff like Pikmin, Baten Kaitos and Thousand Year door. Makes me excited for the next direct because you know they might reveal another oldie that's worth revisiting. Sony could easily do this, they have their ps2 emulator and a huge backlog of classic games.
And they could also outsource some lic...
Personally I just want to hear about games i hadn't heard about so doesn't matter if they are exclusive or not. I think Nintendos shows are usually exciting because they always feature a lot of announcements both big and small. You usually leave a direct with a bunch of cool jrpgs to look forward to. It's less exciting to me if the shows purpose is to showcase stuff that I allready know I want.
Yeah, no Silent Hill, Rise of the Ronin, Stellar Blade, Death Stranding 2 and whatever else they have. They have a lot but rarely talk about any of it.
I wonder what their strategy is, they don't talk about Ps extra and they are very careful with their game announcements and barely acknowledge that they just released an expensive headset.
I guess we are just supposed to trust that they will release stuff in the future. Which is probably true, but I do...
Could easily have been more, even without new announcements. Psvr2 segmemt was especially weak and should have featured more games.
Where's Vampire the Masquerade vr game and Bulletstorm? Atleast do a quick highlight reel or something. Wish they would show just a little more support to their fancy new device. There's a lot of games they could throw a bone.
@Einhander
Might even have more switch exclusives than ps exclusives at this point. They also have Octopath Traveller which is on xbox and not ps, which people also seem to forget.
I'd imagine MS would have bought them by now if they weren't stuck in the Activision deal. Especially now that the price is dropping and now that they have all these sony deals. Same idea as with Bethesda.
Also Dragon Quest XII is missing in action. It's been ages since they revealed the title.
Nowhere to go? What about the same, but done right? Game's good but could be better in many ways.
I joked that might do this a couple of days ago. Never expected them to actually do it, thought it made sense but also seemed very against their policy of only releasing the wrong games on premium and their policy of avoiding ps2 like the plague.
Seems times have changed, very excited to see what will happen going forward. Like when Silent Hill 2 Remake releases, will they do the entire series? That would be sensible, but seems too good to be true.
Finally a good batch of premium titles. This is a good month, will be trying some star ocean and Call of the Sea.
And finally a ps2 title, that's wild!
Have a hard time imagining they would make a new game. But a remaster/port/remake of 1/2 seems plausible. I hope this happens in some form or other.
