"Graphically, it's appealing, smooth, without major issue and the soundtrack fits perfectly to the chosen theme for this adventure and easily satisfies our ears.

What can we say in conclusion? Once you're done watching the ending credits, you'll only want one thing: come back in an arena with your pals to kick some creatures' ass.

However, be careful not to abuse of this production if you don't want to end six f...

Somehow, this is why I have been very disappointed by GoW3, especially considering how awesome GoW2 was. It could answer many questions, several plot holes, but it didn't. Instead, GoW3 threw those opportunities away.

Of course, the Gears of War series has never been known for the depth of its scenario, but GoW3 missed so much opportunities of plot twists or cliffhanger you can only feel sad for its lack of ambition.

French dude here.
If anyone wants it, I can translate the review or a part of the review (It wont be a perfect translation but still a better one than Google Trans.).

The real problem with Metal Gear Rising is within it's name: Metal Gear.
If it was just a random Platinum Games title, it would be a good one. Not as good as Bayonetta, but not as bad as Anarchy Reigns.

But when you play a Metal Gear game, you have a certain level of expectations about its quality, just like for a Gran Turismo or a Halo game.

You expect it to:
- be a visual masterpiece: Rising is not;
- have a complex yet believab...

All I hope is that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain are two distinct games.

As a MGS fan, I can't wait to get my hands on Ground Zeroes, but I also love how Phantom Pain looks and feels. So I just hope PhP is a Metal Gear spin-off or something like that, and not just a part of Ground Zeroes (even if I would be glad if it was nonetheless).

In my opinion, this critical success is a great news not only for the series, because it clearly needed a revamp, but also for the video game industry in general, because it shows fans are willing to invest in reboots as long as developers and publishers listen to them.

I sincerely hope Tomb Raider's success will teach Capcom that fans must be taken seriously and treated with respect. You cannot afford a reboot if it goes against the fans will, and you can't hope to g...

I really loved Thief: The Dark Project, loved the concept and the mechanics (like water arrows to extinguish the torches, the ability to carry enemy corpses and having to deal with lights and shadows to sneak into castles,...). I was just terrified by the zombies and that's what made me stop playing the game at the time.

I'm really glad the series is coming back, especially seeing how gorgeous are the screenshots.

Honestly, I found Dom's death really bland and boring in GoW3. Not only it was predictable, but the staging was really bad.

In my opinion, Tai's death or Maria's (Dom's wife) one had much more impact and were way better orchestrated. Dom's death was just "meh".

I can't say if the game is available in all countries, but here in France, it is, and priced at 4,99€, along Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3 HD at 9,99€ and Peace Walker at 4,99€.

Here in Europe, Max Payne 3 is available at 4,99€. Great deal, even if the game is better on PC.

The Tenchu / Shinobido series have always been plagued with technical issues, broken gameplay mechanics and poor stories (and still, Tenchu 3 is one of my favorite games !), it would be interesting to see how Ubisoft could reinvigorate the stealth ninja game genre.

(and I must admit, I've always loved the feudal Japan era)

I really hope it's true. I've played the Epic Mickey 2 demo on 3DS, the one that was supposed to be a Castle of Illusion sequel, and I've been kinda disappointed. It even made me want to take my Genesis / Megadrive back so I can play Castle of Illusion again.

In my opinion, micro-transactions are a terrible idea.

Just look at the mobile market: these days, many free apps adopted the micro-transaction system. In order to be profitable, those apps are forcing people to invest in micro-transactions because their core mechanics are either way too long (especially if there are daily quotas) or way too boring.

This model must not apply on the console gaming industry. Additional content must gratify those who pay, not pu...

I really loved the demo. Beautiful, sweet gameplay additions and spectacular. I can't wait to get my hands on the full game.

The settings are actually perfect for some Pirates of the Caribbean cameos, easter eggs, etc... It would be very surprising from Ubisoft if they didn't do it...

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Personally, I don't want 3D HD environments, I just would like the same FFVII, with Advent Children-like character models, redone world map and 2D HD environments.

Unfortunately, even that is quite a huge amount of work, and it doesn't necessarily grant success.

Unfortunately, I'm afraid Square Enix will never intend to develop any Final Fantasy VII remake. They probably will continue to release spin-off games like they did with Crisis Core or Dirge Cerberus, but according to me, a FF7 remake is very unlikely.

(and I secretly would LOVE a proper FF7 remake)

Actually, right after the Agni's Philosophy trailer (Luminous Engine's tech demo), Shinji Hashimoto (Square Enix's Final Fantasy brand manager) clearly said a Final Fantasy game was planned on PS4, with more informations coming at E3.
