Yep. I don't know if that point is right or wrong, but we all know Metal Gear games, from the very first episode, is a matter of lies, manipulations and false truths.
So who knows what is true and what is false, in a world full of flaming unicorns, living-deads and giant whales? Which part of the Phantom Pain trailer is true, which one is an hallucination, a lie or an elaborate manipulation?

Well, Metal Gear Solid 4 takes place in 2014, while Metal Gear Solid 5 likely takes place in the early 80's, so he still got time to age and have the look he has in MGS4 (especially considering Big Boss was born in 1935).
Remember that it's not the first time MGS storyline has been rewritten in order to fit to the scenario of other Metal Gear games.
For example, in Metal Gear Solid, when talking about Dr. Clark, this person is referred as a man.
Yet, in Metal Gear Solid 3, it is pretty obvious that Dr. Clark is a woman.
So maybe the timeline will be rewritten again for The Phantom Pain, but there are still potential factors to consider:

In my opinion, if bidding on the Darksiders IP includes acquiring the Vigil Games staff, it can only be a good thing for Crytek.
Crytek can make gorgeous photorealistic games, but their games cruelly lack of a soul, a real art direction. Vigil Games are the right guys to fix that, like they showed it with the Darksiders series.
If you never heard of Retro City Rampage, you should give it a try on XBLA, PSN or PC, because it's a big bunch of fun.
Just imagine a retro GTA-like game with tons of references and easter eggs from video games (Super Mario, Sonic The Hedgehog, Metal Gear Solid,...) and movies / TV shows (Back From The Future, The Dark Knight, TMNT, The A-Team,...).
It's really a great game, no matter which console you prefer to play with.
I'm really glad they put Ôkami HD in this update. This game (and the original one on PS2 / Wii) is a pure gem and deserves to be played by as much people as possible.
It's that kind of game that can totally open your mind and make your heart melt. I just can't understand how it flopped on PS2 and Wii, considering how awesome this game is (and I'm glad Capcom approved this HD remake, that makes Ôkami even more wonderful).
Yeah, Vanillaware are really talented people. I loved their art style too, may it be for Princess Crown, Grim Grimoire, Odin Sphere or Dragon's Crown.
It's probably a Metal Gear game, but I hope it's a spin-off and not a part of Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (even though I wouldn't mind if it was).
The Phantom Pain really looks awesome, I wish it has its own game along Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes (so we can double the awesomeness).
In my opinion, that kind of mentality is pretty sad, not only for girl gamers, that perfectly have the right to be fairly represented in the gaming community, but also for gaming in general.
Just look at games like Tomb Raider, Silent Hill 3, Primal, Heavenly Sword, Beyond Good & Evil, Portal,... If you give to gamers quality, they wont care if they control a man or a woman.

I may be wrong, but regarding Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, I heard Midway wanted to get a wider audience than Mortal Kombat, and for that they had to significantly decrease the violence of the game to keep a "T for Teen" rating at ESRB. If they showed a man getting shot, the rating would probably had to be a "M for Mature".
While in Europe, the PEGI rating of the game was +16, so they probably didn't have to deal with that "shooting a man" ...
Well, this doesn't necessarily mean your theory is out. Bioshock Inifinite is set in 1912, while Bioshock is set in 1960.
So if Andrew Ryan once lived in Columbia, he certainly was pretty young, so Irrational Games would certainly need a younger voice actor, and probably for a kid voice.
I don't say your theory is right or wrong, I just say that you can still hope disregard the absence of Armin Shimerman in the voice cast.

I_am_Batman: I only do it when french dubs are awful and english dubs are available (unfortunately, it's not always the case). I did it for example with Trine 1 & 2 (french dubs weren't that bad, but they cruelly lacked of tone and conviction).
The only exception is with the Legacy of Kain series. I loved it so much I've played the game in multiple languages: first in french, then in english, then in german,... And eve...
I guess the game will be localized in Europe, so all I hope is that the french cast is as good as the first Bioshock. It's pretty rare to have french dubs with the quality of Bioshock ones.
Arc System Works have always been my developers of choice for 2D fighting games. Loved Guilty Gear, loved BlazBlue, loved Arcana Heart 3, loved Persona 4 Arena.
I can't wait to see what they can do with next gen consoles. I just wish one thing: I want their upcoming game(s) to be designed for 1080p displays. BlazBlue sprites are gorgeous, but they don't feel much smooth.
