I totally agree with that, I just hope this is going to happen.
I bought it and it's a pretty fair game. It's not wonderful but it's not bad either. There isn't much content but it's still nice to play with some friends.
However, the game cruelly lacks some useful features, like being able to mute other people. Still enjoying it anyway.
I don't know if we can consider her as a sidekick, but Ashley from Resident Evil 4 was a freaking pain. She made me hate the game so much, which is pretty sad considering I actually liked the new gameplay orientation of the series at this time.
I'd definitely buy a Metal Gear game starring The Boss. She's one of my favorite MGS characters, with Sniper Wolf and Fortune. She has such strong charisma and great background story, really great character.
This is a really great news, Castle of Illusion is one of my favorite Genesis / Megadrive games, and this remake simply looks gorgeous.
Can't wait !
I agree but I'd rather get my hands on a remake of World of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse & Donald Duck ( http://www.youtube.com/watc... ), it was such a delicious pleasure (especially in co-op).
Or maybe Mickeymania, it was awesome too ! ( http://www.youtube.com/watc... )
Not only this article is lame, but it's also mostly inaccurate.
I know VGchartz aren't taken much seriously here at N4G, but according to them, the Xbox 360 sold around 1,64 million units in Japan since its release.
I haven't played the SNES version, but The Adventures of Batman & Robin on Sega Genesis / Megadrive was definitely awesome.
Not only its art style was based on one of the best Batman TV shows (Batman: The Animated Series, 1993), but it had everything right: a great gameplay (a mix between a beat'em all and a shoot'em all), a memorable soundtrack (composed by Jesper Kyd, who composed the soundtracks of Hitman and Assassin's Creed series), the featuring of e...
"No word was issued on why Rocksteady isn’t being used".
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I heard it's because Warner Bros (as publisher) wanted to have 2 Batman games every 4 years, one being developed by Rocksteady, one developed by WB Montréal.
So if it's the case, that would explain why Rocksteady isn't involved in the development of Arkham Origins: they're probably already working on their next [Batman] game, coming in two years.
I pretty much agree with the article. Bioshock: Infinite is one of the rare games where such level of violence isn't used just for the sake of blood-splattering.
Columbia is a decadent world, powered by several kinds of extremisms: racial extremism, religious extremism, political extremism. Booker Dewitt's past, Comstock's ideology, the Vox Populi,... Columbia is the prey of violent minds that would do everything necessary to fulfill their mission.
Back in the PS2 era, I was thinking about a Kessen-like or Dynasty Warriors-like God of War game where Kratos commands his army, before he becomes the Ghost of Sparta.
Unfortunately, that's not the kind of game that would appeal to the masses, but in my opinion, Kratos' past fits pretty much that kind of game.
I really would love to see a Killer7 sequel or spiritual sequel. Unfortunately, it's probably too weird and niche to be profitable in any way.
I don't think we can even compare them. Bioshock Infinite is a game with a story, Antichamber is more an artistic experience than an actual game (I love both Bioshock Infinite and Antichamber, btw).
Unfortunately, I'm afraid it will have the same fate as Battle Stadium D.O.N., with a Japan-only release. But it may be worth importing it :3
Why so much hate?
The mission is pretty short (a few rooms and barely any enemy resistance) and isn't much a pain. The sniping part is full of great codec / mic conversations and the swimming part is rather easy.
Plus, the Big Shell story starts to be really interesting and elaborate from there.
I can understand people may not like escort missions, but this one is quite short and simple, I don't see why you seem to hate it so much.
Can it be any related to the song played in the credits?
Great work, but I would be more curious to a Volus without his body armor !
In my opinion, mostly all recent fighting games used cheap ways to make their bosses "challenging". In overall, most of them are either very unbalanced, either spam bots, either profiting of lame buffs like constant healing.
A boss, or a game, must gradually require skills in order to beat a target. If the player has to use a cheap method, like an A.I. glitch (Deus Ex: Human Revolution), spamming (Mortal Kombat), etc... then he wont feel rewarded when accomplishing ...
Seeing the transition from PSone to PS2, Raziel and Kain would definitely look badass next gen.
I'm still secretly hoping for a resurrection of the series.
