Well, I think they're both kind of similar to the Marathon logo, which is much older...

I'm on my 3rd console, 1st one rrod'd, best buy replacement got me an elite, which died and microsoft refurbed. I want to keep buying games for it...but i just dont' feel good investing any more money in something that i'm not sure will be running the next time i want to use it.
When I used to work at Best Buy someone told me that its called black friday because stores do so much in sales. All the sales numbers are in the black, as opposed to sales being low and all the sales numbers in the red. Not sure how accurate this is, but I guess it does make sense.

Amped 3 was one of the worst snowboarding games ever made. (Though amped 1 and 2 were great) As soon as I read this it was apparent that this review wasn't worth much. I still have high hopes for this game, guess time will tell as more reviews come out and we get a chance to play it.
And if you are insulted by or think that its not funny, well, odds are that it applies to you...

The colors in real life look really washed out.
I think that FarCry 2 also freezes up for a second when you get notifications. It does atleast when I get messages that my internet connection has dropped/connected.

I'd love to think thats correct, but where has it ever been said that Aion or Blade and Soul are going to be on PS3? I know that NCSoft has made some deals with Sony, but as far as i've heard, those games aren't the ones that they are going multi plat with. I was under the impression that they were doing some new/unannounced game for the ps3. Correct me if I'm wrong, because I would love to see those games on PS3.
They already stated that they are keeping the same look as Vista for Windows 7
This preview was quite bad. Especially the line about the game "kick flipping" into stores...right. I love doing kick flips on my snowboard as it is attached to my feet. Brilliant.
I have both a 360 and a ps3. d/l content or not, i'm on my 3rd 360 and i dont' trust it to survive a 100 hour game that will probably have extended play sessions. I'm not saying i'm against the 360, but i only use it for more casual gaming anymore. For any games that are long and involved, I'm going to have to pick the PS3 from now on.

If you steal something you take the original, and then it is gone.
If you pirate something, you're just making a copy. The original is still there. To steal it, you'd have to go into a store, grab it off the shelf and then run out. So you didn't steal anything, you're just not authorized to use it.
Digital phone companies like vonage will be pissed about this, since comcast is limiting the amount of time you can use it, especially while comcast itself offers a digital phone service that will probably remain unlimited...since this will effect other companies services, such as vonage, hulu, (basically any IPtv or voice company), I dont' see how they can put these restrictions on.
I haven't played wow in a while, but I (and many other members of the horde) definitely stormed ironforge. Not sure we successfully killed the king, but it does crash the server for some reason (Archimonde).
The article states that Aion uses the same engine as Crysis, but I was under the impression that is used the original cryEngine that powered FarCry. Does anyone know?
