Just don't buy the console version...32 players, problem solved.

They said that the first beta was on 360, so for the second game they did it on ps3. That's it.
@Bigpappy- "they said that the 360 version was solid and didn't need a beta". I really hope you're not serious. Yeah, all balance and gameplay bugs are worked out in the 360 version...I can't even respond to this. And it has nothing to do with Live, the networking isn't even the major reason for having a beta, that's what stress tests are for.
1997-2000. Action Quake. And a ton of quake 2.
I'll check it out
Can you please explain to me what you mean by screen tearing? I only ask this because as originally (and still mostly) a pc gamer, I define screen tearing as when the game is rendering more frames a second than your monitors refresh rate, so it becomes unsynchronized and the top half and bottom half of the screen don't line up completely, and you get a line going across/falling down the image. Now this is caused by TOO MANY frames, meaning so much processing power that the screen can't keep ...
I agree with some of what you say. I'm definitely getting this for PC over my ps3. Same with mass effect, BFBC2 and borderlands. Why use a controller for a fps when you could use a mouse and keyboard? As well as all the other points you bring up.
However, I don't understand the comment "or does that only work when somethings exclusive. " Hell, if something is exclusive you have no choice but to get it for that platform. In example, world of warcraft is a PC exclus...
Bots have gotten much better, though the economy has gotten worse. Direct effect of taking out gathering bots cheap mats, making everything more expensive. If you are big into crafting, I do hear people complain about the expense of fluxes recently. Its not terrible, but its not great. You just have to be patient and play the broker. Double xp weekends here and there now making leveling a bit easier, and they doubled the energy of repose (rested xp) to 40%. If you took a break cus the g...
I hate your characters hair too. Seriously though, I think hair should be an in-game currency change. Facial reconstruction/body modifications, sure charge money for it. A haircut? They should have a barber that lets you do that for 10k Kinah.
I have have no source for this, but I do remember reading a while back that the graphics should be similar/same between ps3 and 360. However, since the cell is a number cruncher, the ps3 will likely have better physics enabled. Again, I'm not stating this as fact, but do remember reading it somewhere.
I have ultimate box, it doesnt' have all the DLC. It comes with the 2 player local multiplayer and the bikes. Doesn't have they toy cars or some of the supercars, or the additional island area they added.
I have this game for PC, and honestly, I didn't really care for the way the handled the DLC. They patched the original game, so that all the DLC shows up on the menu, but then if you try to play it, you are told to go buy it. If I haven't purchased the DLC to a game, it shouldn't show up on the main menu. It really gave you the overall impression of playing an unfinished game. I know, they have to advertise it somehow, but this just seemed a little tactless to me.

So your console costs around $300, and you probably have some kind of budget pc, we'll put that at around $300-$400.
Rather than buy both of those, just build a gaming pc for around $600-$700.
Hell, for that matter, go get a job and buy both if you really want.
You mean that you have to rent one directly through them? Thats not too bad really, probably cheaper than buying a server, and they can make sure exploits arent' being used in ranking/unlock systems.
When BC2 dies out in a year? LOL. Dice still has a huge player base in Battlefield 2, which came out in 2005. They've stated that multiplayer in BC2 is very similar to this, so there is no reason it should lose a fan base.
"mw3 will mimic bc2 when it comes to destruction and vehicles"
I disagree with this statement, only because BC1 had destruction and vehicles and they didn't mimic it in MW2, so why would they change their game formula with MW3? Their track record shows that they don't feel a need to develop new game engines...
Pretty excited to check this game out, looks to be a nice change of pace.
oh and Max Speed
prepare to see your comment deleted.
Marked as Off Topic.
:p
oh beans...its pretty obvious why 360 has a lead - because it was out a year earlier. But the ps3 has been outselling it globally, closing the gap.
Not all those games are exclusive, and it doesn't make sense to just limit the contenders to consoles to claim that they are. If that was the case I could call a lot of games PC exclusives, if I didn't want to take consoles into consideration. It really makes no sense to ignore an entire platform.
I completely agree with you. They do the same thing with many other pc/360 games. Brink comes to mind, the original Allan Wake footage, etc. I don't see why people get bent out of shape and disagree with this, its pretty common.
They have put alot of work into the single player, and I believe they have stated its over 10hours long.
