Your're kind of going to the extreme on one end of the spectrum and not the other there. I'd let a 10y/o watch people kiss on TV, but not porn. And I'd let a 10y/o watch x-men, but not a graphic violent movie with people getting their heads blown off with a ton of blood/gore.
But I do disagree that talon stands for talented.
Its more like going to a Honda or Ford dealership, but then paying twice as much for one that has a fancier paint job or body kit. PC's can have just as good, if not better hardware inside of them as a Mac, and still be cheaper. I have nothing against apple, but price vs value, and even quality (especially if you build your own), apple doesn't come out on top.
It wouldnt' be too different from receiving a HD tv signal. They just send you the images of whats being processed. The only difference from TV is that you're sending data back to them to control the images being sent to your screen.
Lag is your internet latency. It isn't related to how good your system specs are. If your latency is low, but the game is still running choppy, that isn't lag, that's just getting a poor framerate, probably due to having to load in a ton character models/spells when they appear (in the case of WAR). Try adding a bit more ram, that usually helps w/ MMOS's when there is alot going on in them.
Its last gen tech that got a late release ;)

But I'm pretty sure I read another article about cryEngine3, and they said that it would be scalable for whatever platform it was on. So if that is the case, one console could look better than another based on how high it can be scaled.
Where exactly did you ever hear that Halo was originally supposed to be a RTS? I followed the game from the first announcement on Bungie's website where they had beta screens and it was a computer game, with no console intentions. I always assumed it was an unofficial sequel to the Marathon series (hence the marathon logo popping up occasionally in Halo). It was never a rts game, you may be thinking of Myth, which was a Bungie RTS.

You'll have to wait until the psp2. The main reason for that, is then any games coming out that require the second stick, won't be playable on any of the other psp's.
But wow alone with 11mil users should earn them 165mil a month. How could they be spending more than 1,980,000,000 a year to post a loss? A servers really THAT expensive to maintain?
I may be wrong, but I believe I heard that this collection consists of IPs that SEGA owns. I haven't looked into any of the games people are mentioning that are not included, but it may be because SEGA doesn't own the rights to those particular games.
When this game goes to the f2p model, is it completely free and going to be downloadable from a website (like every other f2p mmorpg), or will you still buy the box and then have no monthly charges similar to guildwars?
I do think that crysis is a better looking game, but then again, gaming PC's are generally alot more powerful than consoles. I do have to disagree with the argument that you need to spend upwards of $800 to build a rig that will run crysis though. Last month I picked up a PhenomX4 and 8800gts and built a new rig. I did reuse the old case/powersupply/HD, but basically bought everything else and built a new system for $450. If you were to buy the parts i had recycled you'd spend no more tha...
I think this game is about a character who can fly around, supported in the air by the bloom effects. At least that's what it looks like.

Generally when I don't have an internet hookup in a room I go with a wireless adapter. But hey, if a VGA cable works for you...
you can always just pull the hdmi out of the ps3 and put it in the 360, or vice versa. Thats what I do (because of only one hdmi port) but it works fairly easily...and its not like i'd use them both at the same time anyway.
