As with most of their "properties" microsoft did not create halo. They bought out the developer and got rights to the game. Bungie was previously a pc game developer. Hasn't the tech been boiled down to just a camera? Since the internal processor was removed and the grunt work is now done by the 360, what expensive tech is left inside? I'd imagine it should be quite inexpensive to manufacture them now.

Based on the minor amount of content in the demo/betas, its superiority is already pretty evident.

Can I ask why you say this? I have both ps3 and 360 and a decent rig, but have been looking to buy this for pc, as is the route I go for most non exclusive shooters. Bad port, no pc gamer friends or is your pc not up to snuff?
Does this number include the beta downloads as well, or just the demo? Don't flame me for this, but I think there is a possibility that PC might actually contribute a 3rd (or close) of the sales to this game. Its what most have been waiting for.

Downloading a game that you already own a license to is not pirating, as long as you are still only using it on a single system.
I'm going to throw out an example-
I had a friend back in high school who would go to wal-mart, open a box and steal the disk/cd key. This is stealing, plain and simple, the original copy is gone. Loss of profit to the retailer.
Same friend goes and downloads a game. Nothing was taken, all originals are still in place. This is pirating.
While stealing does cause a direct loss of money, because someone (walmart) fronted it to the publisher/distributer/...

If the original is still there and you just made a copy, you didn't steal it. You copied it. Nobody lost the first panda.

Which was a mistake, because the time savers dlc gives you all the cars, which pretty much takes away the drive to play the game. Is there a way to uninstall just one piece of dlc, or do i have to delete everything and re-download?
Yeah, I haven't had the red rings for over a year myself. After my 3rd replacement I just stopped turning it on. No more money invested in it, no more problems.
P.S. While having your 360 in a "poor" environment will definitely kill it faster, they still die commonly when taken complete care of.
