XBlondie the problem is there way too much old recycled stuff, and way too little new fresh stuff.
Crap this is just flatout sad. The industry is drowning in this recycled garbaged. We need new IP's not old stale games.
Why in the world is Port Royale 3 not up on Gamestops website yet? Its suppose to come out in 4 weeks on Sept 4.
Absolutely inexcusable. I have noticed Gamestop getting lazier lately with getting release dates up for games, but this is absolutely pathetic that Port Royale 3 is supposed to be released in 4 weeks, and it is still not up on its website.
Anyway I will be going to Gamestop tomorrow, and plan are asking if it is avaible for preorder despite it not being...
Theres a good chance the PS4 wont releases til 2014.
Its a waste of resourcesme, and money to focus on the Japaneese market. They already done everything they could to break through with the Xbox, and 360 there its time to just flatout giveup on the Japanese market.
MS wont pay much attention to the Japaneese market anymore.
There is no such thing as a game being too long. I been playing games since the Atari days, and there has never been a time where I thought this game is too long.
Um AC3 will come out to the PS3, and 360 first.
So you biught a PS3 to play PS1 games? That is about the dumbest thing I have ever heard. When I buy a new console I buy it for next Generation experiences not to play a bunch of old stale games.
For the life of me I cann't understand why people want to play old games. There is no way that those games are still fun to play in 2012.
We here this same crap every year, and its always abunch of BS.
Most casual gamers will choose the cheap PS3 to. Especially since their Wii's have been in their closets collecting dust for years now.
Hardcore gamers of course already own a PS3.
PS3 sales would be insane for the next year+ if they bring a $99 model to market this year.
I don't care if it is just a box with cow manure inside. If it says PS3 on the box, and it costs $99 it will sell like crazy for a very long time.
I think Nintendo is really having to rush to get the system out this year. Thats why theres been so few details.
Early adopters should be very cautious. Remember in 2005 when MS really rushed to get there system out, and there was a ton of problems with the hardware.
I don't care if it was under $100 I would still wouldn't be getting one.
I always maintained that the PS3 will eventually pass the 360 in sales, and if this $150 PS3 happens this year the PS3 will easily blow by the 360 in sales.
Well thats the point. If you going to take a huge risk making a big budget IP you better get a huge reward.
Otherwise nobody would even bother making big budgets IP's. Because most of them fail so when you do get lucky, and get a hit you had better be able to get a HUGE profit on it to make up for the ones that fail.
Most of us are not able to wait that long, and will have to buy the game on Day 1.
I wish they would reward Preorders by giving them a season pass. That would certainly increase early sales.
I miss the old days before DLC, and patches when a game actually had to be finished before being released.
Heck Ubisoft even left 2 chapters out of the story of AC2, and released them as DLC.
Who knows they might do the same thing with AC3 leave chapters out of the story, and then release them as DLC.
Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard. AC has always been about the epic historical settings. Not Desmond or Sci-Fi crap.
The selling point of AC games IS epic historical settings.
Its obvious the 720 is coming in 2013. The big question mark is the PS4. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the PS4 comes out in 2014.
