I won't be playing another AC game until next generation of consoles. I have always been dissapointed in the AC games, but have kept the faith that Ubisoft would finally deliver a good AC game now with Revelations not only was the game dissapointing again, but its feeling pretty stale too. I'm through with AC until the Next Generation of consoles.

I believe this story is legit because it makes sense as a good business move as it WILL help Gamestop sell more used games.
Actually there is still plenty of 3rd party exclusives.
First of all the 3.8 million is WORLDWIDE SHIPMENT numbers. Second of all NPD only tracks US sales. Uncharted 3 is NOT going to be high on the NOV Top 10 sales list.
Uncharted 3 will probably finish about #8 on the Nov 10 top.
Most games do NOT get a patch when they come out.
Agree I miss the old days when a game was released thats its. It was finished for good or for bad. That was the FINAL product.
ACR is a automatic Day 1 Must Buy.

Actually the 360 has a lot more exclusives this holiday season then the PS3.

Pretty amazing when you consider the 360 has now been out 6 full years. It launched way back in Nov 2005.
Um if it comes out on the 360, and PS3 it WILL be this Gen. Doesn't matter if the Wii U has already been released or not.
Like I said in my earlier post there will be a lot of overlap between This Gen, and Next Gen.
GTA V by itself has zero effect on how long this gen will last or when the next gen will start.
There will be considerable overlap between this gen, and next gen. Even though the Wii U is coming out in 2012 the PS3 will still be a very viable console with lots of games through 2014.
