Sony is delivering games and at the sane time not alienating it's original customers from the whole PlayStation experience. They should be applauded for that.

That would be all well and good if it wasn't for your ownership of an X Box One S. That has upgraded features over the original x box.

I didn't ask for either of them, but at the same time, I had just bought a top of the range TV before 4k started to get affordable. I think it's a great option for those who do have 4k TVs.

Just that with most things, you don't feel abandoned by the manufacturer when an upgraded model comes out. That's an Xbox exclusive experience for you.
They are sold on a different pricing model to consoles though. Most people don't pay crazy prices for a handset alone. It's usually free with a monthly contract.
Ask yourself this. If they released a console for £30/month on a 24 month contract and upgraded it every 2 years, would it then become more viable?
