Umm, no.. I think Kinect has proved that motion gaming is making some progress. When I look at Kung-Fu Live I see a 2D tracking web cam game that came out of the EyeToy era.. It's embarrassing looking at that tracking compared to Kinect.

What argument was even presented there? That those games have been done on Eye? Which takes me back to the first thing I stated. If you hold on to this Kinect is EyeToy then you have not used Kinect and you never owned an EyeToy because anyone who owns both knows that Kinect is tracking on a whole different level.

Game development isn't all about just console power. Money and time usually trump both of those. Nothing like pressure from a publisher to hit a deadline to kill creativity in order to just get the product out.

I am a PC gamer at heart but I have to admit I lean twords consoles now because they get the support and seem to be the priority.
