No device is perfect. I didn't plan on getting Kinect until later down the line but was at the store, saw it and had an impulse buy moment.
So far the thing works as advertised. Need to have some games that appeal to me more but the family is having fun.

I really enjoyed Crackdown and then Infamous.. Was extremely let down by Crackdown 2 and I think Sucker Punch are about to show Ruffian how to make a proper sequel. One of my most anticipated games for 2011 is Infamous.
I don't think it will do Halo numbers but the game deserves good sales. I'm anxious to see this "best open world tech this generation", from the videos I saw it looks impressive.

Move is great! Anyone that has tried it walks away saying "great accuracy, fun and a ton of potential." Haters and fanboys have an axe to grind no matter what, it's all about getting attention. If someone is excited for Kinect it is not a knock on Move.
Nintendo started a motion control fad and now Sony and MS have picked up the ball and ran with it. Hopefully we see holodecks in our lifetime! Maybe the PS14?

Try playing Halo Reach or some of the other games. You can unlock avatar awards with achievements.. Been doing it for awhile now. You can get all the Spartan helmets for your avatar from Reach.

Is it because there is a level? I can still have 50 games and have 5 trophies in each and be a level 10. While someone who has 5 games and has platinum on them all is still a level 5.

I'm saying drop the store name and zip code and people can verify the BS from the ones telling the truth. I've not been able to find Kinect anywhere since launch and even Move was in short supply for awhile but it has since been restocked.

As someone who owns it I can say without a doubt that it is NOT sh*t. Not perfect but I feel that is more in the games than in the device.
