I'm sure they won't disable the standard controllers for that type of stuff. Kinect will be there as an option.
So what does the Kinect offer?
For me, additional immersion.
I can only speak for myself. I've not seen anything from MS that delivers that in the way I imagined yet.

I believe he said the same thing about Fable 1 and said Fable 2 corrected much of the things he didn't like. Now he is saying the same for Fable 2? I actually liked Fable 2 but the way he talks makes me feel like a sucker for buying his game. Way to go Pete! Here is a spot of tea and a place to lay down and sober up.

This is the kind of stuff I'm excited about with Kinect. Even in inventory menus where you can use your hands to navigate.
As long as it's quick and accurate and not a frustrating experience.

These are GAME journalists and the 360 has been out for FOUR+ years and they don't know not to move a console with the disc spinning? Even with a big sticker right on the front of every new system that says not to move the system?

I asked around over the weekend at a few places and all were sold out.
I'm still waiting for Kinect bundle prices but seems like people are snatching up what is out there in my town.
I enjoyed Project Snowblind and for the time it was one of the more imaginative games as far as weapons, hacking and mechs. The graphics were not half bad either and had some fairly impressive animations and AI.
This is in my top 5 most anticipated for 2011. The trailer gave me chills it was so good.

I was hoping Case Zero would be a passing of the torch from Frank to Chuck. Here is hoping there is a little update on what happened to him after getting out.
I enjoyed the first game immensely but this new one is giving me a bad feeling like it's not going to live up to the original.
Come on, Marty has been doing amazing work.. If there was one shining spot for me in ODST it was his soundtrack.
I would say NO it's not as bad as it seems due to his history of quality. This particular composition might not be that great but we need to listen to the entire score or at least a larger piece before condemning it.

For me, as a long time 360 fan, the first 30 minutes spoke to me.
MS is looking at targeting a different audience after that.
MS has been quoted as saying they will be showing the hardcore some love come Gamescon and time will tell.
The majority have spoken loudly that they missed the mark in their presentation and even with some of the product. Will they listen? Or will the typical MS corporate pride and control choose to ignore it?
The X Clamp does contribute tension to said solder and causes the board to flex. You are mostly right and I don't believe the X Clamp is any worry. With the 45nm, a fan directly on the chip and the redesigned ventilation slots, I think MS took the extra steps.
Time will tell but I know MS has it in them, the first Xbox was a tank.

It needs a balance. Unfortunately for anxious gamers we've seen only 1/2 of that. They have yet to show the "core" side of it.
