That thing looks bigger than the original 360 and "Kinect" is not the name from what I've heard.. I know Natal is a rather abstract name but Kinect is just plain awful.. Makes no sense at all and sure sounds eerly like that Kinetix stuff from a long time ago with the EyeToy.

I have one of the pre 2010 Samsung HDTV's with 3D it is very disappointing that Sony did not support the "checkerboard" 3D format and if they expect me to rush out and buy one of their spendy 3D TV's they are crazy.. Disappointing start to this 3D thing.
I am interested in gaming in 3D but going to be a while before I drop any money on it. I'm glad I didn't rush out and buy a pair of the active shutter glasses.

Thank you. I was going to post something similar. This is not the end of gaming in America it is just strengthening the punishment for selling an adult game to a minor. Something that I still feel should be left up to the parent but it's not anything close to the "end of gaming".

Did you even read the article?? This does not have anything to do with the TV. The effect can be created on any television and it's based on head tracking and tricking your eyes to perceive depth.

Oh that is bad but I couldn't help but laugh because he does have a bit of a tweeker demeanor on stage. You can almost see him grinding his teeth.. Probably just nervous, that is a big stage to step out on and you are speaking for a multi billion dollar publicly traded company.
On a serious note I expect lots of Natal and hopefully some new game announcements.
I don't think so.. it's just that E3 has started early for PlayStation gamers. I couldn't care less if the announcement's come right now or at E3, a new game is a new game! I'll take them when I can get them and Sony is dropping bombs.. KZ3, Infamous 2, GT5, etc, etc it is relentless!
PS: E3 is not a competition and I really don't see how anything going on there would spell doom for any system.
Was that even up for debate? Of course the PC version is going to be able to run at the highest specs but it's great now that console gamers can enjoy this. It looks like Crytek took their skills and are doing good things for consoles.
Just as long as PC gamers get a game that flexes their power I think this is a good thing for everyone.
