Halo usually has some of the best marketing out there. Reach looks to be no different. I hope the game lives up to the grand Bungie finale of the series. So far it's looking good and I love the idea of the space combat.

I agree with your statements but for myself, I am interested in the homebrew side of it. It's a shame you can't have one without the other.
Oh boy. Sometimes the money making schemes these publishers come up with and the trend of shortening games to break it out into DLC(overpriced at that) and some of the shady marketing tactics makes me want to say Jailbreak.

All my systems make up my "De Facto" they are like children, I can't pick just one as a favorite. With that said, the PS3 is a powerhouse and worth every penny.
I'm taking a wait and see approach but out of all the past claims of hacking the PS3 this one has the most steam I've seen.
I buy my games because good developers deserve to feed their families too. They provide me hours of entertainment and I find it worth it to pay.
However, I am not against the homebrew idea and some amazing ideas have come from it. It seems you can't have true homebrew without the pirates because the system must be open.

No seriously, I loved the first one and the "annoyances" you describe are what I loved about it. It took actual skill and the time limits added real tension. There is a save point in every building so it wasn't that hard to get there if you know the map.

The 360 is perfectly capable of outputting native 1080p as well as upscaling lower resolution video.
I've seen this on the US store for 2 weeks now. Not exactly new. A bit steep in price for me but looks cool.
Godmars290 MS has already stated the device will launch with voice recognition. They just haven't been clear on what languages are supported. I'm assuming if the device is launching in your area it will support your native language.
From what I've read on it this will not only be a Kinect update but will have new features and updates as well.
