The most sold game on both platforms is a shooter.. just saying.
It's funny, because I have full friends lists on both the PS3 and 360 and %90 of the time both systems all the users are playing shooters or some multiplatform game like RDR. The similarities are striking yet I don't see any 360 site with the kind of gall to stereotype an entire fanbase and system saying they aren't interested in anything they aren't "used to" or claiming to have a bro...
Sorry man. I've played the heck out of KZ2 and there was nothing even close to the level of environment destruction even this short game play video shows. Sure, there was some canned stuff like "blow building up" but you weren't cutting down trees and blowing chunks off the side of a building..
Heck, in the demo level you are in a warehouse full of plywood and I can throw a grenade and the wood doesn't even budge, no physics, etc.. It's all through...
But talk about an understatement.. I think that looks amazing and if that is truely running on a console then I am impressed.
It seems like Crytek are going to deliver on their console talk and it's not even finished yet. I'm going to have to get this one on PC however, but I am going to give the console(s) version's a solid look and will be watching to see how this engine does.

I am really looking forward to finding out more about the single player campaign. All this talk of multiplayer gives me the impression they aren't putting much into the single player/story.
After ODST I am approaching this title cautiously(from the single player perspective) and I thought the beta was OK but not really "bar raising" for the series. If it's not broke don't fix it?

I just finished an excellent game in Alan Wake. It felt nothing like a Halo or Fable or Gears.. Just sayin.

Wow, those screens really strike a cord with me. The city shots look gorgeous and I dunno why I get a hint of Blade Runner feel about them..
The trailer already had me but the more I see the harder the wait.
I am not one to tell a parent how to raise their children.
But I think desensitizing a child too early in their life to violence, profanity and gore can have adverse effects some of which may not manifest themselves until later on in life.
Every child is different and every parent is different. Your child may be able to adjust but I do NOT think we want to advocate that it is okay for young children to be exposed to violence, even with "proper" sup...
I enjoy them both. I felt that the original Cole was more of an everyday guy but now considering his unique powers maybe he can't help but change as a person both emotionally and physically(but a different voice actor?).
Crackdown didn't have much of a story but there was one and the deception of The Agency is an interesting one. I won't go into spoiler details..

As much as I hate the "flavor of the month" pop star shilling of my hobby it is business and this is good marketing to the casuals.
I don't mind a little casual gaming break from my usual hardcore affair but MS better not lose sight of ME and the core folks who put Xbox where it is today.

Look at the kid having an awesome time just jumping around. The jumping around does look hilarious but so do a lot of gamers when they are even just using a controller.. Sticking their tongue out, making funny faces, ducking and weaving left and right.. Gaming isn't about looking "cool" and it never has..
It's about fun and it looks like this family is having it.

Not a bad list but I have to include the above when I think of top games on the 360.. This is just using Meta.. I am only listing exclusives and if you want to talk 360/PC that list changes dramatically. ME2 is the best game I've played this generation FOR ME.
I wouldn't be surprised. I expect Harmonix to get into the Natal thing some way. Considering the appeal GH/RB had at one time I could see them trying to recapture some of that market.
I'm just thinking how Natal could actually be used to teach you dance moves, yoga, exercise, etc. Follow the avatar on screen and Natal could actually watch and make sure you have proper form. Could have some interesting applications..
Well Clownbelt, Natal expands on that even more. Are you referring to Move? I think Move's accuracy makes it a step above the Wii and then combined with the EYE opens up even more possibilities.
I never bought a Wii since many people I know own one and I can play their system so this is technically a new way to play games on the PS3 and 360.
That is really all you can do.. The whole "best" thing is completely subjective and why one person might not like a game/hardware someone else will.. Go for what you like!

Just so you know, Natal is not just one game. It is an actual hardware device that will work with all types of games.
Maybe you think this is like the video game in a box thing you get at target where you plug it into your TV and it has many build in games?

The creativity of some of these Modnation modders is amazing! There is some really great user created stuff out there. This should bring the game even more attention, it deserves it.
