Maybe on Games for Window Live MenudoKudo but I know FPS is alive and well on PC and I'm one of them.
Very honest assessment and something I've come to expect from this gentlemen.
I'm sure the competition thing goes both ways even though they both take a jab at each other at times. 3D exclusive games are going to struggle to sell until the install base is healthy enough, it's most certainly a gamble for a small developer.
This isn't trying to be the Pac-Man arcade game it's just 1 test in Brain Training.
You guys realize this isn't just Pac-Man but part of the Brain Training game? It's meant to be a test for doing 2 different tasks at the same time with each hand. 1 little test in a larger game and people are going off on Kinect. This place has far too many haters.
I can understand questioning the product but people here are being harsh.
But if you look it seems like her hands and the hands on the screen were not lagging. Pac Man was the one not keeping up.
Im having fun with Sports Champions. The overrall consensus at my home is that Frisbee Golf is the most fun. It's about the same amount of fun as Wii Sports except Wii Sports has more to do. I wish Sony would of took some of their MLB team and made a cool batting/baseball mini-game.
Hardware wise I give the nod to Sony, even with Motion Plus the Move is just more accurate and responsive. I can't wait to see the second gen of games for it.
I'm waiting for a Content Dual: Which game has more stuff to do?
Or how about a Multiplayer Dual: Which one has more online features?
Or how about a Design Dual: Which game lets you create the most interesting levels? Oh wait, can't even have that one.

As someone has said above. This isn't just doing a 2D stencil scan of the object, it is attempting to match depth as well.
How about just waiting to see and not condemning it at the first attempt from a developer.
Uncharted is a 3rd person shooter. Stop it. It is climb some things and then come into an arena where there is cover and your main objective is to shoot things.
Ult: So what do you call Mass Effect, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell and coming in Nov Fable 3? I've just listed a non shooter for every title you listed.

It seems folks above have no problem lumping every type of game on the 360 as a shooter. If you are going to call Gears a shooter you better call Uncharted a shooter. The main objective is SHOOT things, despite platforming elements.

Why is it you only list FPS when you say "shooters" on the PS3? Then list both TPS and FPS on the 360 and call them "shooters". If you are going to call Gears a shooter you better call Uncharted and Infamous shooters as well. They may have some platforming elements but the main objective is shoot the bad guy.
Then I would say BOTH look to be reliant on shooters.

Armrd I am totally with you. I am excited at the possibilities of the hybrid Kinect/Controller for core games and with %99 of the games staying totally true to controller free games I can't believe there isn't some room for experimentation.
Alpha how is it a burden?
For me it's all about immersion and if I can talk to my mech, make gestures to my mech and also control him using sticks that is no burden.
The marketing tag line for Kinect is "You are the Controller" and I don't see how using your body in addition to some buttons is betraying that statement. Especially when the launch line-up and most everything announced is %100 true to that statement. There has to be some room...
If you loved the 2nd one you owe yourself to play the first. I think many feel it was the better of the 2 games. Ken Levine actually did the first Bioshock and then 2k Marine did the sequel.
